Hydrocodone Addiction Treatment
One of the most important decisions you need to make is what type of treatment program you want to complete. Outpatient treatment programs don’t interrupt your life as much as inpatient programs do, but some people need the added structure in order to recover. It’s important that you choose the type of program that right for you.
Outpatient treatment programs give you enough flexibility to work a full-time job and to spend time with your family in the evenings. Some programs require you to check in with a drug abuse counselor on a daily basis, while others require you to stay at a treatment facility for eight hours per day to attend group therapy sessions.
Inpatient facilities have more structured programs. You live at the facility for the duration of your treatment. The facility has medical staff that helps you through the detoxification process. The medical staff can administer medication to help relieve any withdrawal symptoms that you have during detox. When you begin your normal treatment, you’ll attend group therapy sessions, attend individual therapy sessions and go to educational lectures about addiction and recovery.Hydrocodone Help Quiz question 6
