Michelle Karmozyn is a prevention scientist with a specialty in understanding the relationship between drug use and behavior problems in children and adolescents.

She received her Ph.D. in Preventive Medicine-Health Behavior Research and focused her dissertation research on the relationship between early drug and alcohol use and aggressive behavior in adolescence.

Michelle has authored a number of scholarly articles related to her dissertation topic and currently freelances as a writer on addiction and investigates mindfulness as a technique for preventing and reducing drug use in children and teens.
