What to expect?

Specialization
  • Residential Treatment
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.
  • Individualized Treatment
Some facilities have an addiction treatment protocol that all patients or clients are expected to follow, while others customize or individualize treatment based on a person’s unique needs and circumstances. Factors that may affect treatment decisions include age, lifestyle, medical conditions, type of drug, religious beliefs, etc.
  • Medical Detoxification
Drugs and alcohol have widespread effects throughout your body, including but not limited to the addiction and/or physical/psychological dependence that develops with substance abuse over time. Many organ systems are affected by addiction and will react to withdrawal. The term “medical detoxification” means that there is a trained and licensed medical professional onsite to monitor your vital signs and protect your physical and emotional health as your body goes through withdrawal.
  • Family Program
Research shows that the odds of successful, sustained recovery from addiction are far higher when family members and loved ones are involved in treatment. Drug and alcohol addiction often have genetic roots, whether related to substance abuse, mental illness or both. Family dynamics also play a role and, often, family members are the first to realize a loved one has developed an addiction. Also, it’s important for family members to understand and embrace the lifestyle changes that are required to sustain recovery.
Our brand promise

Some people think of it as a treatment guaranty – to us, us it’s our brand promise.

I definitely want to give praise to Oxford because I went from completely defeated to a man who loves and appreciates life. It wasn’t my decision to come here because I was comfortable living in insanity but now that the fog has lifted I want to be a better version of myself everyday. Every group has given me a new tool to use and it started the day I learned you can’t graft a new idea onto a closed mind, thanks mr Barry. I’m thankful to the NA members who came here on Thursday nights to provide us all some hope. This is a great facility my recommendation is Oxford treatment center.

When I first showed up to Oxford Treatment Center I had the same jailhouse and street mentality but I found out was that was just a mask that I used to hide and protect a phony tough guy image. Now that the masks are slowly being removed I’m starting to like the person I’m seeing in the mirror each morning. I’d like to give a special thank you to Ms Jewell, Ms Kate, Mr Hank, Mr Marty, Mr Greg, Mr Fred, Mr Barry, Ms Katie, Ms Ambriel, Ms Kim and the incredible nurses Jason, Laura, Debbie and Kim. I refuse to sell myself short anymore and just for today I won’t use drugs or alcohol. This place is definitely a great place to come for addiction treatment and I most definitely recommend it.

I received great care here and definitely recommend this place for everyone that needs help. The entire program is great and I only wish the best for all my peers. The staff here is so understanding and caring. I enjoyed music therapy with Ms Hannah so much and I was able to shed some tears that cleansed my heart. I give a huge credit to my process group peers for helping me navigate through my denial.

Without the help from these beautiful people at Oxford treatment Center I cannot say how much longer I may have survived because I was definitely at the end of my road. What stands out to me most about this place is passion the staff have as well as their amazing patience. I’ll definitely be making an AA meeting as soon as I get back home. Thank you all at Oxford for what you do in helping save lives. Everything was great here especially the cowboys at equine and all the groups that focus on recovery.

My treatment experience at Oxford treatment center has been absolutely nothing short of miraculous. The welcoming spirit from day one throughout my stay was heartfelt. Love this place and the people I’ve met from the staff to my likeminded peers. I was taught to give myself a break and to give others a break who I wreaked havoc on while using drugs. Today I’m finally finding peace in my heart and my life.
