Hated it! If you have a disability please take your loved one else where. I could not do the activities you get frowned upon. Like climbing on telephone poles and walking on planks. Such jerk's at this place!

I don't even know where to begin with this place. First of all, there was no type of authorization or notification to the insurance before my loved one was admitted into treatment. She is not a 22 year old heroin addict, she is in her 50's and has several debilitating, legitimate chronic health conditions and was denied really any kind of treatment for them besides Gabapentin. She's in no condition to be paired up with girls coming off of meth. She can't just up and at 'em like a young woman can, she takes a while to get up and get moving because she's in a lot of pain. I was supposed to be their first point of contact, but other contacts seemed to get more phone calls than me when there were issues, and most times no phone calls were even placed unless my loved one was essentially being difficult. Detox is a joke, my loved one received NO tapering - no medications were administered in the first week she was there! You cannot just cut someone who's been on heavy pain meds for 10 years off their pain meds cold turkey! My loved one had enough of the facility and checked herself out after 16 days, and not one person from the facility called to let me know. Our family showed up that afternoon after nearly an hour of driving only to be told "Sorry, she checked herself out this morning" with no further explanation. I get it, she's medically in charge of herself, but why wouldn't anyone call to let me know, or call any one of her 5 contacts for that matter. Also, I had sent emails about needing medical forms filled out for claims, she never responded to any of the emails except for the initial email I sent her asking for the forms to be filled out. Like I said, communication was terrible here!! Her withdrawals got so bad that she needed medical attention, and she was denied ER visits because they were "short staffed". Last, this place has these girls up at 6 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. doing physical activities. My 50-something year old loved one who has RA, fiber neuropathy, fibromyalgia, CHF, and a slew of other chronic conditions cannot be up running for 15 hours! Through her withdraws, she had to go to the gym, scrub bathrooms, and who knows what else. A lot of the times, she just needed to sleep through her pain and had a hard time with the physical aspects of things. This place is really saddening and sickening. From the sounds of it, they make things out to be rainbows and unicorns to get your business. Essentially, if you're looking for a facility that works with elderly people who have legitimate chronic health conditions who have been on narcotic pain meds for an extended amount of time, and your loved one needs help coming off of their mounds of meds and needs help managing pain without tons of pain meds, then look elsewhere. If you're young and looking to kick your addiction and be very physical and can handle stress and really work through medical issues, then this is your place. I get that addiction and recover is rough, I really do, but there were so many things that went wrong basically from day 1. It makes me sad that this is how addicts are treated. Sure, they make poor decisions in life, but they still deserve decent and fair treatment when trying to better their lives and themselves.

I went to Annie's when it was relatively new. With that said, I think they should have got some things in place before jumping in. The oven broke and needed to be ordered. We went weeks without a working over. The air conditioning didn't work for a week in July and they refused to spend money on fans for the girls. Saturday was community service. Twice we just walked down the street picking up garbage because they didn't bother to plan things. I was there for 30 days and got a counselor assigned to me 2 weeks in. After care was a joke. They had a high turnover of staff. There was once that I came to aftercare and even the "therapist" didn't bother to show up. The staff expected us to be everywhere on time but they would show up to group when it was convienent to them. Their excuse was, "you're an addict, you want what you want when you want it". We needed to learn patience. When in fact they were just to disrespectful to treat us like real people. I would NOT recommend Annies House to anyone. I have seen other programs that run smoothly and professionally Annie's is not one of them!

Annie's house has changed my life! Recovery is one of the hardest things I've ever had to deal with. During my stay at Annie's I was supported by amazing women and the most amazing team of professionals to help me deal with things I had held onto for years. Nothing is more powerful than a room full of amazing women. Thank you Annie's for helping me find myself again and giving me the tools to be the best person I can be for not just myself but for my family and friends!

For the money they didn't follow through with promises made before entering. Very little communication with family other than at group settings? Did nothing to help find a job.

Annie's House is what treatment centers across the world should aspire to be like. I have seen so many lives changed because of the recovery that is taught here. I would recommend Annie's House to any women looking to grow personally, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

To put it frankly this rehab is a mess they can\'t keep their employees and fire anyone that questions their methods. They are rather lax and run by the seat of their pants with most of their therapy

My mom was here for a month, from the beginning we thought it was perfect and had high hopes. We were lied to many times from the admitting people about stupid things like how she can have soda on the weekends to activities that never happen to the insurance covering the entire bill. It made me nervous that they wouldn\'t tell us if she was approved until the day of. In the 30 days you are in there you only go through a couple of the steps and they do that so you have to stay longer, everyone is on a different step but they only go over one at a time in the meetings...My mother was in a very vulnerable place in her life and these people were just greedy and liars. I can\'t believe they are in business. Please steer clear of this treatment center.

Great caring staff. Beautiful home. Yoga. Various therapy methods. Recreational activities. Great area. 12 step and spiritually based program where all therapists go above and beyond to prove they care. A womens facility that not only specializes in drug addiction but in body image and eating disorders as well.
