Dan D. Twopinch, MC, LPC, Head Therapist Dan has a Bachelor of Science Business Administration (BSBA) and a Master of Counseling (MC) degree from the University of Phoenix. He is a Licensed Professional Therapist (LPC) in Arizona with over 20 years experience working as a Clinician and Clinical Director, actively involved in program development. His professional experience has been primarily focused on substance abuse disorders, but he specializes in all mental health issues, addictions (chemical, eating disorders, compulsive sexual behaviors, etc.), dual diagnosis, trauma, grief, individual, group and family therapy. He believes that all addicts need individual therapy to identify core issues in their lives that lead to the dysfunctional behavior patterns linked to their addictive behavior. He uses a wide range of therapeutic modalities, but he has special training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and psychodrama (Action Focused Therapy). Dan believes that it is very important to educate family about codependency and enabling so they become aware of how to be a healthy support system for the recovering addiction.More
