The Potter’s House, run by the Atlanta Mission, provides men with faith-based drug and alcohol addiction treatment, as well as therapeutic, educational and vocational programs designed to help get them back on their feet. The long-term residential rehab stresses the importance of building a relationship with God in order to let go of addictive behaviors and make productive and fulfilling life choices. Once this step is taken, clients can begin to rebuild their foundation for life and develop the tools necessary to stay clean and sober.

This was the best investment in my future. The people here really care about helping you get close to god and to regain yourself , the life before drugs and alcohol took you down. I will always be grateful to this beautiful secret in the country

This place tells everyone that they are Christian people but if they were the Christian people they say they are then they wouldn\'t turn people away the way that they have an I think they also need to get people that careabout what people are going threw an are willing to change to better themselves for there family instead they just turn them away so yeah wow that is REALLY the Christian thing to do

Excellent
I helps you opening up to see the faults we have and how to overcome it. This place I was there for 2 years and been clean for 5 all together. I was addicted to Meth and haven't even thought about using. It helps you explore yourself and overcome what made you use. It is Christ based but look at the life we use to live worshiping the false idles, this isn't a false idle. It all depends on you heart and if your ready to change to something awesome.

It is a Christian discipleship for chemically addicted men between 28 - 55 years of age with opportunities for others on a case by case basis. This first 6-8 weeks period of time is referred to as "Orientation". The contact to the outside world is limited to only the mail. This is to reduce distractions and allow the participate to focus on working their program with the goal being to learn coping skills and achieve balance in your life. The next phase your encouraged to have family come to visit on Sundays. When your not in group or individual counseling sessions during the week days, you also worked four hours per day in the skill area of your choice including woodworking , or the auto repair shop, computer repair and many more. The program saved my life. I recommend the Potter's House to any man that needs help. Strengths: Effectiveness, Restorative, Christianity. Weaknesses: Work facilities need some updating.

They need to screen their counselors to be more efficient. They also needed to provide more counseling. However, they cared a lot about the individuals.
