This place, because of my financial situation with my son, didn't even call me back to let me know that they were shipping him to Deland to another PHP. I just found out because he called me from Amtrak. His case manager and his psychologist told him they called me to let me know. These kids in need of help are like pieces of meat to these facilities. It's a damn shame that they don't care. It's all about the mighty buck!

I just left your facility on October 18 2019, I I read very disappointed in this felicity because when I got there noone showed me around I just followed other people to learn here I was to go finally soine came to mr 4 days later but buy that time I new what I was doing, the rooms smelted like mildew in it in to room mildew was in the walls the hallways up stairs were all wet and I almost slipped down the stairs a couple of times, the staff were good except the nurses one gave me the wrong medication 3 times, I asked to see the doctor because both of my toes were effective and I asked the nurses for 4 days and finally the 5th day I saw the doctor and was given wrong antibiotics I had to go to my doctor in NY to get a culture and was different antibiotics I didn't feel that I was getting the right treatment that is most of the reason I went home and got different antibiotics 2 weeks later there still effective I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This facility works great if you are taking your recovery seriously and humble yourself enough to listen to everything the staff tells you to do. It works if you actually work it.

Variety of different types of treatment. People were easily able to sneak in drugs wh3n we had a free day. I liked the different approaches they took, plus there was different activities to do to help keep my mind focused on something other than the substances that caused me to be there.

Multi-faceted. A bit unorganized, treatment not individually-based. Treatment included medication-assisted treatment, which was preferable.

Aside from nursing staff, all the staff I met were former addicts and were well-meaning and wanted to help. However, I don't think they are adequately trained to deal with all types of drug withdrawal. A weakness was the inadequate security given the location of the Cottages. It is in a unsafe neighborhood. I cannot say this strongly enough. Do not send your loved one here. The womans facility at the Cottages is in an unsafe neighborhood... My loved one was in a one-to-one situation with an aide at the facility while going through withdrawal and was still able to get away to get drugs and worse. Stay away! I don't want anyone to go through what we went through at this facility.

Completed the seaside program last year and my life has been turned around for the better. At seaside they get you back on your feet and help you find a happy and healthy trajectory for your life and get you on the path to achieving those goals so when you graduate the program you are well on your way to sustainable lifestyle and better future.

Too many negative things to list. They didn't seem to care if my daughter wasn't willing to stay clean, or to help guide her through her problems. She has relapsed many times.

I am still owed money from Palm Beach. My daughter left treatment early and as per the contract I am to be refunded unused treatment funds, however it has been eight weeks and I still have not heard when of if I get my refund which is tens of thousands of dollars. I am concerned that the clinic is in financial stress.

Great structure and focus. Some down time for reflecting would be nice. I liked how they mixed alcoholics with addicts and age groups were mixed as well. It was very eye opening that this disease is cunning, baffling and powerful and does not discriminate.

Our experience at Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches was nothing short of miraculous. After sending a loved one to multiple facilities for addiction, my brother was finally able to get clean at BHOPB in 2015. The staff and treatment at this facility were top notch and the family week was a great way to understand how it is possible for family and friends to be enablers. BHOPB provided instruction and plans on how to support my brother after treatment, without enabling him to revert back to his own ways. When my brother first arrived to treatment we were worried because he was very pessimistic and not willing to participate. But after a couple days he finally started to open up and trust the program which changed EVERYTHING. He started going to group, participating in activities, writing in his journal, going to the gym, doing everything he possibly could and it all worked! It was like he was a new person! My brother had always mentioned how the other facilitates he went to were just going through the motions - getting people in and getting them out - but he said BHOPB was different. The staff took the time to get to know my brother, to welcome him and to make him feel at home. The one person he raved about is Chef who went out of his way at each meal service to ask every patient how they were doing one on one. So, if you have tried everything and nothing has worked and you or your loved one is truly ready to commit to recovery, then give BHOPB a chance... This facility literally saved our brother\'s life!

They lie. They lie on the phone and at the facility. Admissions lies in all fx, that\'s a fact but I was told i was going to one fx and they put me in the other. I was in the ghetto of lake worth with some really great women but quite a few unsavory characters. There was very little supervision. I witnessed several injuries on the unkept property. The nursing staff is a joke, they sub contract and the nurses don\'t know the facility, I was given the wrong meds, allowed to walk out with them after a two hour med line wait. They allowed patients to run \"aa\" meetings, without any supervision, not even a tech. It was a dangerous situation, not to mention it was not a meeting at all. The food was so gross. It literally made me sick and I couldn\'t eat for days. They just kept giving me shots of meds for nausea. I\'ve kicked so many times, in so many ways and have been able to eat the second week no problem. Thank god I detoxed elsewhere. They break hippa constantly, I\'m not even sure if the staff understands what it is. When I tried to leave, after not eating, being afraid for my safety, sitting in a \"group\" with a clinical director talking about the secret like it was the be all and end all (I\'ll make a poster about being sober and I magically will!) , and being lied to about transfers continually, they lied and threatened again. I worked at a facility, I\'ve taken classes towards my cadc, I know my rights. They threatened to keep my things that they locked up, they refused to let me call anyone to leave, they tried to make me write a stupid letter and present it to a group before I could leave, they said they call the cops if you leave ama. It was insane. I was finally able to escape after talking to another director who said my \"evil addiction\" (is that a clinical term?) was what making me act this way. Not their subpar (and that is putting it nicely) treatment and groups, or the lack of care, or that I was in the wrong facility and was continually told I would be transferred the next day, or that they said I could web chat and call my 4 year old child (who, in the far superior detox I went to in NJ, was able to speak with me several times a day). No , it wasn\'t that, it was my evil addiction lol. Please PLEASE don\'t send loved ones here, don\'t go here. There are so many Florida model rehabs you can go to or alternative treatment, even narcanon would be preferable.

This is a HORRIBLE facility. Please believe that the reviews that the tell truth unlike the facility. Send your loved one to another place or if you are looking for yourself don\'t go! Lacks medical care, cleanliness, only 12 step based, so many \"tracks\" yet so little care. Patients jumping the fence to leave, ambulances arriving to take people to psych ward, you will leave a smoker if you don\'t go in as one. I could write all day. Just please do your research and don\'t go to lake worth Florida ( awful area as well).

They will lie, not exaggerate, but flat out lie to you when you call. They lie about their program, where it is, everything. They will say anything to get you in bc they work on commission and want your insurance money. The detox is NOT safe, or comfortable. I was lucky enough to dx at Sunrise Detox in New Jersey (that is where you should go) but I went to bhop for \"treatment\". I was able to Wittness how they detoxed and it was horrifying. Several people were hospitalized. They also don\'t have a nursing staff that exclusively works there. They have contracted nureses and some were nice and even competent but MOST had no clue what they were doing. Hippa meant nothing to them, you had to wait for HOURS literal hours to get your meds. You had to wait on line, a line fille d with degenerate girls. I will say that the majority of the clients were okay but really I may as well have gone to a public facility. There were fights, constant verbal some physical. There were unsupervised meetings \"aa meetings\" run by \"peer leaders\", fellow addicts who had been there 60-90 days. The food was disgusting, and what was palatable made me sick. I threw up for two days straight, having had no issues prior at sunrise , or ever when I was in paws, and they did nothing. They gave me a naseau pill. Thanks. They lied to me about what facility I would be in, the horrible all women\'s one was the one I was stuck in. I don\'t know if the cottages are better but I doubt it. So many people there, even a director, flat out lied to my face about how it was a mistake I was in this facility and I would be transferred. I wasn\'t. The next director I met with was insane. She told me my \"evil addiction\" was making me leave awol. What kind of clinician calls addiction \"evil\". Her clinical director also teaches the secret... Vision board nonsense secret. So you make a magic vision board and you won\'t do drugs anymore. There\'s positive thinking and there is magical and they don\'t know the difference. Probably because they must have some magics to remain open. They broke so many laws. They also tell clients you can\'t leave (yes all rehabs try to talk you into staying) but they have this stupid system. It\'s in the hood too. People were selling drugs on the street behind the dirty and poorly maintained building I was sleeping in. So don\'t go there. Go anywhere but there. I would rather detox with Tylenol at home or go to a state facility before I go there. I wouldn\'t send my worst enemy there, Donald trump doesn\'t even deserve it. They are liars, the facility is gross and in a dangerous neighborhood (the nurses were scared) , they will mess up your meds, if you actually get them. I\'m sure they kill people all of the time. If for some insane reason you still go there (so many other south Florida facilities take insurance and will pay for your flight) make sure you bring your own towels(they don\'t have enough to go around and the girls fight over them). You can get clean anywhere. Stay home. Go to meetings (they have maybe 2 actual aa or na meetings a week, maaaaaybe 3) or go to a facility that has a dedicated nursing staff, where the detox building isn\'t across the street from their \"classes\" and find a facility that doesn\'t teach the secret because if you follow that... Just blame the drugs. The \"clinicians\" are supposedly clean and sober , they have no excuse. Maybe the clinical director can make a vision board where she doesn\'t loose her job and that place doesn\'t get revamped. It\'s sad. Bhop wasn\'t always awful. I know people who went there years ago and it was okay. It\'s not now.

This place is a dump and you should run in the other direction. Facility is in the ghetto of Lake Worth (Not Ft. Worth) FL. Treatment sucks, food sucks...They dispense meds like candy and push them on you. Atmosphere is like a prison..No joke. All treatment centers are not like this so keep looking.
