Specialization

  • Day Treatment Program
Day Treatment - Weekday outpatient rehab at our Rancho Mirage campus: Evidence-based day treatment at the Betty Ford Center provides you with the most intensive level of outpatient care—and surrounds you with a multidisciplinary rehab team dedicated to your recovery. Programming takes place weekdays on our main campus in Rancho Mirage, California, with patients living at home or in nearby gender-specific sober residences staffed by the Betty Ford Center. Tailored to meet your specific needs, day treatment is an especially effective rehab option if you have experienced chronic relapse, have made multiple attempts at treatment, or are struggling with co-occurring mental health issues such as depression or anxiety.
  • Residential Treatment
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.

Betty Clinic is neutrally-acceptable. ! They treat you as a reflection of yourself! I was fed like a King! Others... not so much:) They said I have an inflated ego... but I am certain they have no idea what that means. Computer, end dictation and send... No! wai---

No sense of urgency with trying to get in. called for assessment and didn\'t give me a time so pushed off for another day. 3 days now - I threw out my plans. I\'ll figure out. I\'m sure it is great if you can wait.

Betty Ford isn’t what it used to be since being sold out to Hazeldon. Gone are the true connections to staff and facility. Do not waste your money here or your sobriety- it’s a joke. Sadly the people coming are coming for the original ideals and reputation - once you get here you’re in for a rude awakening. A sad sad shell of Mrs. Ford’s original dream.

Please Please do not go there ! don’t look at the grounds & slick advertising. This is a nightmare hospital as an older adult. I would implore any parent, spouse to never ever put a sick struggling loved one here. 99% of the staff is either not fully educated in the field, Burned out or worse yet; possibly using themselves. I flew in based on the Betty Ford name & left 4 days later when the idiots couldn’t even remember to give me my medicine I brought - then had the audacity to lie to my face and tell they did. I am now in contact with Cigna & CA state medical authorities filing a complaint & trust me I not alone. I am strongly urging you not to buy into theirWe’re a first rate facility- Bullshit! they only want ins dollars & are ruthless once inside. I self admitted & they not only tried to refused to give me my phone to make a reservations plane & hotel. They also said I wasn’t “ allowed to leave” . Power tripping insecure folks who love to scream & publicly try to humiliate patient’s. Shame on all of them

In many cases we were treated as inmates rather than patients. The beds are very uncomfortable and I would recommend taking your own bedding or buying some online while you are there. Some management are condescending. The food is basic cafeteria. Given that I was self pay ($1200 a day) I expected more.
