The alcohol and drug inpatient rehab program provides specialized treatment for people who are actively addicted to alcohol or other drugs and need detoxification with intensive medical supervision. It is ideal for people who do not have the support to detoxify on an outpatient basis, and the program helps people safely and more comfortably detox from addictive substances. The average length of stay in the program is three to five days and can vary on each person's individual needs.

Specialization

  • Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
Patients who undergo intensive outpatient treatment continue to live at home and sometimes go to school or work while participating in a highly structured treatment protocol that is focused on ending substance abuse. Programs vary in terms of how much treatment patients receive, how often and for how long. Some facilities design individualized intensive outpatient treatment programs.
  • Dual Diagnosis/ Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment
These two terms describe a person who is not only addicted to drugs or alcohol, but also has a mental or emotional illness, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Facilities that treat patients with dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders provide psychiatric treatment in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.

Very unprofessional!! They are like a money machine!! Stay 3 days, change med and send home!!! Patient care is minimal!! Nurses are not good. One didn’t take my son’s depression and anxiety serious because he hadn’t actually tried to physically commit suicide!! Their day programs are a joke!! Just another way to make more money!! How can you call yourself a hospital?? REVOLVING DOOR CARE!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Shocked to find a completely different hospital....mainly drug addicts in my unit. This was not the ADI unit! Now, it's all catering to drug addicts and alcoholics there! Not allowed to have your own personal care items anymore...due to Fentanyl being smuggled into hospital. Drug sniffing dogs are now used there! Where was my treatment for bipolar? I was given 4 MDs in 2 weeks...no continuity of care! Sent home even worse.

Treatment was totally ineffective. What more is there to say.

The staff that help out on unit are great. Some of the doctors are not that caring. I have been at butler on d4 many times. I always had good care. This time I was on a different unit. I didn’t mix well with dr. They wouldn’t switch I’m not sure why. So my stay wasn’t as good this time. Please give me a different doc I feel I should be able to switch that.
