I went to this place for 63 days and they aint do shit for me buh make me wanna use more while i was in there than i was out. There are a few really good staff there that actually care buh everybody in the front office doesn't care abt you or your problems. this place is just a waste of time and energy and its more of a group home than a rehab

I truly feel sorry for any kid who is forced into this joke of a program. I was the only girl for the first two weeks of my "treatment" compared to 15 boys, so I was isolated in a hallway due to a "no interaction" rule between boys and girls, and when I left they still only had 4 girls to 25 boys which was just unsafe considering the lack of staff they had. I was harassed before breakfast for almost 2 months. The tech staff was the only thing that got me through the 53 days I spent there. My counselor was a very unprofessional, cruel woman who threatened me with being "lucky" to be 18 or else she would have to call DCS on me because I told her my mom was a recovering alcoholic who moderately drank. Just feel like this facility was a big group home, and hurt my mental state much more than it helped. If you're seriously wanting to get your child help, invest and send them somewhere that can actually address their issues and show them the care they need, because my mom owes 6 grand for a place that I caught head lice at and spent most of my "recovery" in a hallway.

Do not go here please. When I went here they gave me bad food that most of the time made me throw up. There were not attempts to break up fights. They basically make it more like a punishment than a place to get help. There was no educational time. They aren't at all sympathetic towards your problems. The inside of the building looks very trashy and also smells awful.

I'm sorry you had a negative experience with the Scholze Center. Your comment, and others prompted an investigation that resulted in new leadership in our cafeteria and fully renovated bathrooms. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

Scholze center is an awful place to work. Management had no clue about anything and it is the most disorganized place I\'ve ever been in.

This place has so much potential to help adolescents with addiction, however there is no support from the director and techs are left to do fin for themselves. Counselors do not spend enough time with the clients and many clients do not understand why rehab has to feel so negative and jail like. These kids should be learning that recovery can be fun but instead they feel as if they are being punished for the choices they made. Director is clueless and not interested in making changes to the schedule that could benefit the clients. Clients are not given adequate recreation outside which in turn makes it difficult for them to sit still for the 3 hours worth of groups they are suppose to lead themselves in at night.

Although there were a few employees at this facility who seemed genuinely interested in helping the clients achieve wellness, our experience was abysmal. The therapies listed on the webpage seemed more like possibilities than realities—some of the listed services were not even available. The level of physical activity is far too low—the rope challenge has not been used for years and the rock climbing wall is not available during the summer. Additionally, the clients do not receive enough time outdoors. The food is far too often out of date. The printed copies of the therapeutic workbooks are riddled with unreadable passages because of poor print—either too much ink or not enough ink. When I went there at a non-scheduled time, the place was chaotic. From what I understand, most of the clients are there because of a court order and many of these clients do not seem to want to recover. Read the employee feedback from Glassdoor.com to see how the employees feel about this facility.
