The counselors were not adequately trained to help clients heal the underlying causes of addiction/alcoholism. None of the counselors have a background in psychology, pharmacology or in treating the underlying psychological and chemical aspects of addiction/alcoholism. I have seen clients who leave the facility, relapse, go to prison, come out of prison, and return to Choices like a revolving door. Obviously this facility doesn't have an effective means of treatment. People are not assisted with healing the underlying causes of addiction/alcoholism. They only preached the 12 step program and never addressed the underlying causes of addiction. I have not re-entered because I addressed my depression and have never had a thought of using since.
