Specialization

  • Residential Treatment
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.
  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Patients who undergo intensive outpatient treatment continue to live at home and sometimes go to school or work while participating in a highly structured treatment protocol that is focused on ending substance abuse. Programs vary in terms of how much treatment patients receive, how often and for how long. Some facilities design individualized intensive outpatient treatment programs.

Ive been a MAT client (medically assisted treatment) (methadone) for 10 years and my doctor told me to get off of the methadone because it makes ALOT of people gain ALOT of wieght because it really slows your metabolism and gives you strong sugar cravings and of course gets you high so you are lazy.Anyhow I gained 200+ pounds on it.So now Im getting off of it as ive been told would be best and CHC really makes it hard for you .ive got a medical marajuana card and it helps with my ptsd and other feelings that im feeling alot more since im not high on methadone any longer and even though i have a prescription and doctors order CHC says they will punish me by taking my take homes away if i use my medication , and i guess so far this discrimination is legal because CHC wont answer any of my inquires about it only choosing to ignore or say they will get back to me then they dont..Im legally disabled and have been pleading for them to understand why i need my meds that are prescribed by a DOCTOR and so far CHC doesnt seem to care one little F-CKIN bit.(sorry ptsd)If you want a Methadone clinic that will honor your medical marajuana card and your rights go to the clinic in Barberton and if your prescribed youll be able to use THC if you need.GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS...Joe Bais

Kind understanding people who did not make you feel judged and offered a lot of support. I liked that they kept you as comfortable as possible with the withdrawal by giving medication that helped with the symptoms and then weaning you off and you got the same when it came to emotional support plenty of counseling and group meetings to help get you through some of the toughest days of your life

Excellent clinical staff. Clinical and medical staff are well versed in evidenced based practice and have been offering specialized treatment for women. Medication-assisted program combined medical and clinical components to offer comprehensive care. Most clinical staff are licensed in Chemical Dependency and Mental Health. Support groups, out-pt, IOP and residential services, transitional housing and permanent housing are available. Ok for psych education, not great for therapeutic groups.
