So you get someone going in recovery and supposedly really care but when there is a threat of no coverage that all stops. Oh we don\'t care anymore it\'s all about the dollars !

Great
Family counseling is above average Some staff can deter clients forward progress by using outdated counseling theory like being confrontational. Helpful in discharge planning

Fellowship was nice...I didn't like the coldness A lot of people in this facility didn't seem sincere. Most of the them had been through already.

Staff's level of training and/or experience; general program for both acute treatment and assistance to outpatient and the "alumni"were great :) As an extension of Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, I consider myself blessed and am so grateful to have been able to succeed at life via the fifteenth chance, this time presented by CRC. I graduated their 30 day program the day before my 24th birthday. If possible, attend this program if you are you need helpThe staff at CRC not only "gets it," they will make sure you "get it" too. Proud CRC Alumni right here:)

CRC is a wonderful program for some but I feel that there should be more empahais on how to get along with others and boundaries. I currently live at the Giving Tree and since a arrival of a new roommate have been told me inappropriate things and that she does not want to attend our house meetings and basically has made me very uncomfortable that I am changing my bedroom because of her or my Sober Home . I have two programs I am doing at this time Project Recovery and Cadaver plus working my steps Sober and Clean court. My step-father having cancer taking care of myself and my family. I have worked and lived in this community all my life and in the medical field for thirteen years while running other businesses I have commitments and a sponsor and in my life I have been taught not to take threats from anyone ever no matter what even from one of your clients.

Good
Consistency. The program is good. Can't control the addict ;( It's about the underlying psychological issues and addressing that and honesty. Without input from others, staff are left to Believe what the addict says ...in any program

The counsellors are amazing, and truly helped with my couples counseling. I loved the continuing program of alumni group. Their support of 12 steps is tremendous and saved my life. All the staff is very compassionate. We had enjoyable walks to the beach regularly. This facility is mostly group based and 12 step. The local AA community was a fabulous foundation to my continued AA work outside the area.

Caring staff who individualized treatment plan. Cost was high. If I was to ever need treatment again, I would definitely go to CRC again. I learned alot there!

Strengths: Staff's level of training and/or experience; general program for both acute treatment and assistance to outpatient and the "alumni" :) Weakness: ...sometimes the food would look better after being expelled through the digestive tract. As an extension of Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, I consider myself blessed and am so grateful to have been able to succeed at life via the fifteenth chance, this time presented by CRC. I graduated their 30 day program the day before my 24th birthday, and two months before my fiancées 26th birthday (also a user but not in recovery) In two months I'll be 27. I will again, be celebrating this birthday sober (by choice!) yet without my fiancée (not by choice). He, along with many others, is forever 27. He never was able to get the help I did at CRC, and at age 27 he overdosed on her ion, our DOC, and sadly, I have to maintain sobriety through grief but again, CRC makes THAT seem achievable; graduates are considered alumni and may return for meetings, BBQs, etc, for life. I wish Zack had the chance that this facility gave me. If possible, attend this program if you are an addict. Addicts know that some people get it, some don't. The staff at CRC not only "gets it," they will make sure you "get it" too. Proud CRC Alumni right here:)

Absolutely wonderful staff, well most of them anyway. Great location! Food was good, even the food I'm not supposed to eat when I'm there to visit. Need to install a hot tubs and 65" flat screen tvs in all the rooms.

Program itself is comprehensive and wonderful. A few staffing issues at that time were problematic. Over-all program is fabulous. I continued without patient/AA. Relapsed after 15 months.

CRC changed my life. The staff truly care about each resident and provided me with the tools to create a better, happier, sober future for myself and my family. I also made many lifelong, quality friends. I am so grateful my family found CRC!
