We specialize in “Whole Person Health”; a comprehensive treatment approach that incorporates heart change that leads to life change. The goal is to see this Wholeness impact the health of the entire family and not just the struggling addict. Our programs treat individuals struggling with co-occurring disorders and dual addictions, as well as those who may benefit from a strong relapse prevention curriculum. There is a warm and relational emphasis on the spiritual aspects of recovery in both our Christian 12 Step program and Traditional 12 Step program. All of this is provided in gender-specific setting. Our staff of skilled professionals administers the most sophisticated treatment available. Through individual counseling and group therapy we are able to model, teach and equip our clients to function in a setting that is larger than themselves. Considering the psychological, physical, and spiritual implications of substance abuse we simply believe that the addiction is a symptom of a deeper issue that is best addressed in the context of relationship and grace. Providing a healthy and whole approach to life includes using diet and exercise to promote physical healing, as well as, establishing a long-term plan for long-term recovery.

Facility Highlights

  • Both Christian and Traditional 12 Step options
  • Separate campuses for men and women
  • Great Family Program

Specialization

  • Aftercare Support
Addiction recovery does not end with discharge after completing a rehab program. Facilities that offer aftercare planning and/or support work with patients to ensure sustainable recovery by helping to plan and make arrangements for transitional or sober living, help with housing, vocational counseling, etc.
  • Family Program
Research shows that the odds of successful, sustained recovery from addiction are far higher when family members and loved ones are involved in treatment. Drug and alcohol addiction often have genetic roots, whether related to substance abuse, mental illness or both. Family dynamics also play a role and, often, family members are the first to realize a loved one has developed an addiction. Also, it’s important for family members to understand and embrace the lifestyle changes that are required to sustain recovery.

The best thirty days of my life was in covenant hills. You can see God\'s miraculous ways through change lives. The place is not just a rehab,it\'s a comparison of mount saini where we,where I encountered and became closer to my Lord and savior Jesus Christ.Addiction, mental illness etc is a desease,that\'s why aside from the excellent councillors covenant hills have, they have the best physician in the Lord of Lord\'s... Jesus Christ.

When I went in to Covenant hills i had no idea which way was up. By the time I left i had the tools and the courage to walk out of there back into life. Its going to be a long trek ahead for this alcoholic/ addict but thanks to EVERYONE there I’m armed and ready. I can’t say enough about how much of a class act this ENTIRE facility was. Not only did I come in as an alcoholic/ junkie, i was also a diabetic. The ENTIRE staff bent over backwards for me in every way including the cook; he went out of his way to cook a special diet for me for every meal! I still have no words to express the gratitude in my heart. I also had neuropathy in my ankles which made it hard for me to walk when it came time for us to get snacks at the store and they asked me for a list and shopped for me! The case manager made the time to know all about me and treated me accordingly. The daily routine was tough and strict but I learned so much about myself and what the underlying causes were that accompanied my disease. I don’t think I learned that much in 4 years in high school as i did in 4 weeks there. Impeccable program and Christian based on top of everything else. When you have God in charge how can you go wrong! Thank You Covenant Hills for EVERYONE there for your help in my recovery! If I could change one thing about my stay I could have done without the arrogant Drs aide.

Having a faith based and traditional track. Really helped separate this facility from others. Overall the staff was great and I had a great experience. I'm still sober and I owe it to all the staff and the love and compassion they showed to me and all of the other clients in the program.

Christian Program that really cares about their people. True 12 step recovery program that does not just hold the hands and coddle their people. Challenges clients to actually attempt to engage in recovery. Standard issues that come with a treatment center. Conflict with individuals that don't agree with treatment, petty issues, struggles with continued care on Insurance clients. I personally had a serious problem with drugs and alcohol. College educated but for that reason I figured I could learn my way out of my struggles with drugs and alcohol. I had a serious problem with AA and the 12 steps and would not engage. My counselor directed me to specific passages in the big book, questioned me to challenge my held notions, and propelled me to truly identify my problem and the solution.
