This facility is a former state corrections facility and you can tell. There's nothing residential about it. It's cold, uninviting, you literally feel like you're in jail, and you're treated like an inmate. The staff are barely out of high school, and my son had 3 different addiction counselors in the few weeks he was there. Abuse is rampant, family isn't allowed to visit their loved ones until they go through their own recovery class, and the staff treat the patients like inmates. The cold impersonal environment, is offset by the beautiful scenery only. You can tell the successful of treatment by the recidivism of the patients. In short, this place is a waste of funding and it's only in it for the profits, rather than public good. You can't call a a jail a rehab center, treat its addicted residents like prisoners, and expect them to succeed in life. Fire everyone, Burn this place to the ground and start over, beginning with the patient's rights.

From the moment, I got there, front desk receptionist and manager came off very rude. The accommodations were comfortable, the rules on belongings- very ridiculous! Some of the RA's were very caring and the others were did not have client/customer service skills nor even smiled and same with a couple of the kitchen staff. Meals were tolerable. The counselors were very caring, understanding, and friendly- except I hoped to be assigned with their expertise of what areas I needed to work on instead of being asked what I wanted to do. The schedule and structure really sucked- group wise, too much down time! Overall, my experience here was a waste of time and I would not recommend, I seen more clients leave early than I seen graduate their programs. This experience was very similar to just being in jail!

This facility changes its policies to much and won’t incorporate with family for their “Patients”. It’s close to jail with better rooms. 5 minute phone call a day anymore and you’re punished like a kindergarten class... Rights? What are those when you need this to get through treatment right? Force people with a cult like sobering technique. What could go wrong? Isolation is a great way to help a addict. You have no family nothing on the outside it’s just family health and your addiction. You can tell George W. Bush funded this facility. Can’t have visitors because they will bring in drugs? Okay... So how about all the food allowed to be delivered? That’s cool though... Eventually you’ll have a mutiny on your hands if you take away the rights of your patients and the families right to see their loved ones. May all your loved ones be forced to do the same to you. I didn’t know nurse ratchet was Based on this facility. I don’t know how you think this works or is successful. Your numbers of people that remain sober after leaving this facility don’t seem to be to high. I was warned that this facility was basically jail and I hoped for a better experience with councilors. I am just family of a person in your building. You don’t take account for what these people do once they graduate. You don’t let them know that someone outside loves them. You make them feel abandoned. You just become another trigger in a addicts life. Delete this and I’ll repost it everyday till I stop breathing...

This place and the staff are amazing from the lunch ladies to the RAs, including the upper management staff members and of course the counselors. Its what you the client makes of it. Treatment plans are designed interactively with the clients directional decision. There's an indoor basketball/volleyball court with air hockey and pool tables, exercise machines and oh yeah get excited for kickball. You have visits once a week, phone calls every night, and 8 smoke breaks per day. Medical transport is available just fill out a medical request. (Medical request forms for primary care, dental or specialty care (suboxone clinic or mental health provider). Quit letting substances take advantage of you and take advantage of this opportunity. It's a chance to free yourself and grow out of old unhealthy habits that never served us anyway. Loved this experience and now starting to love my life.

I went here and nearly died due to the neglect and horrible way this place is run. Without warning of rules that kept them from legally giving me my medication, I was trusting enough to go here. So if you take medication, you can look forward to being refused the right to take any. That suffering aside, staff will constantly play psychological games of changing rules and stealing from clients while watching as we lose the minds of targeted individuals over the false hope that someone will fix the issues at hand(why are there no NA books even when so many have been donated? the answer is lIke any runaround you might experience). Then there's the issue of food, so if you have even the smallest request for religious, health or allergy food needs, expect this to fall on a budget that requires you to take what they give you, all while the money you pay via EBT disappears and you're allowed to starve... I'm sorry, but this list can go on. I'm just thankful to be alive and intelligent enough to find my way home when another health problem came up due to the neglect of this place and I was told I should leave and hitchhike home if I needed real medical help. This place deserves a 0 out of ten and shouldn't be allowed to call itself medically qualified to help addicts in their recovery. I'm clean today only because I have people who care about me. Without them I would have likely died out in that snowy frozen display of a day, because they refused to help me get to town or even point me in the right direction(knowing I had no phone and my closest ride was a state away... yes I truly almost died). I guess when they kill someone, then maybe eyes will open and reading this will be too late. Good luck to the poor soul that finds himself here. I can't speak for the care of the women. I can't imagine much change, but like I said I can only speak to my experience as a man. Zero rating from this client. Sorry to say you almost killed someone with a voice. Very foolish on your part. You'll be hearing more from me. God be with the addicts whom choose this false hope of a rehab center.
