Four Circles offers residential substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment for young adults. The facility combines comprehensive clinical services with therapeutic wilderness-based activities designed to motivate major change. Clients are forced to become self-sufficient, and begin to see what they are capable of achieving without the aid of alcohol and/or drugs. While the environment is challenging, it is also nurturing and supportive, providing young adults with the encouragement and guidance they need to change their problematic behaviors and build a solid foundation for lifelong sobriety.

Specialization

  • Relapse Prevention
Four Circles Recovery Center offers a specialized 21-day relapse prevention track for individuals who have completed treatment at any primary alcohol or drug treatment facility within the past 12 months and relapsed. This 21-day program is based on research-backed approaches, including the Gorski-Cenaps® model, which have proven highly effective in helping individuals break the relapse cycle. Our therapists have received extensive training using the Gorski-Cenaps® model and are using it to help clients identify and manage high-risk situations that lead to relapse in the critical first months of recovery.

Our son went into the center with the hope of overcoming his addiction. His experience and ours were less than expected. There was a 30 minute meeting but no orientation of expectations, goals etc. The amenities were that there were none. The counseling consisted of meeting with a \"counselor\" one per week for approximately 30 minutes. This is basically a prolonged detox center. Ironically I just attended a program where a young lady spoke about her experience at Four Circles. She relapsed immediately after leaving the program due to receiving little counseling and a lot of walking. They are more interested in money for hikers and staff cost. Our son left the program and finally made the decision to stop using. We would not recommend this facility.

Majority of this is a complete lie. 1. It says your out in the wildreness for 4 -14 days. False. You are out 14 days everytime. 2. Says you come back to shower. False. the 14 days you are out there you won\'t get one shower. 3. Says you see a therapist 4 times per week. False. You get 1, 30 minute session with your therapist per week. Group sessions are with your guides who have no training in that area. 4. Says food is good. BSfood is awful. You will be hungry. 5. You will be completely miserable. Majority of people there are there because the court forced them. If you have a choice. DO NOT GO HERE. I REPEAT. DO NOT GO HERE. The very nice place you see in all the pictures is where all the main people work. You rarely go in there. They don\'t show you where you stay on base because it\'s gross. literally trash. This place costing $1,800 a day (without insurance) is complete robbery. You get one call home once every three weeks. You\'re therapist calls them before hand to fill them in. So when you tell them how much of a cruddy the place is they won\'t believe you because the therapist just told him or her how lovely it is. When you try to leave it\'s horrible. They make you spend hours on end filling out paperwork. literally all. day. long. Please help yourself and find somewhere that cares about your well being rather than their pockets.

Our older son was there in 2012. Wonderful family program facilitated by the staff. His aftercare provides a weekly update and we are financially supporting our son until he can find a job to support himself. Our son has a renewed outlook on life that is positive. This facility most likely has saved our son's life. FCRC is focused on treatment of young adults ages 18 - 30 and they do it better than any other program that I've heard about. Both of our sons have been fortunate to be treated here and it has been a life-changing experience in both cases. Our older son has been clean since 2012 (he did relapse, but is now sober again thanks to the tools he learned at FCRC). Addiction is a chronic disease and is very difficult to treat, but the staff at FCRC have patience and passion and the expertise to do it well.

Spiritual growth encouraged. Food was bad, too much hiking, not enough recovery. Overall a good experience, first rehab I attended and I have almost 2 year of continuous sobriety today
