Hill Country Detox is a sub-acute detox facility in Buda, Texas with luxury accommodations. One of the biggest barriers to attaining long-term sobriety from drugs and alcohol is the withdrawal symptoms experienced when one attempts to quit using. Our luxury, Mediterranean style housing and medical detox program are built to offer the high quality of care of a medical facility without discomfort of a hospitalization.

Management of withdrawal symptoms
Drugs and alcohol have widespread effects throughout your body, including but not limited to the addiction and/or physical/psychological dependence that develops with substance abuse over time. Many organ systems are affected by addiction and will react to withdrawal. The term “medical detoxification” means that there is a trained and licensed medical professional onsite to monitor your vital signs and protect your physical and emotional health as your body goes through withdrawal.
Addiction recovery does not end with discharge after completing a rehab program. Facilities that offer aftercare planning and/or support work with patients to ensure sustainable recovery by helping to plan and make arrangements for transitional or sober living, help with housing, vocational counseling, etc.

This facility is designed to help the chronic relapser. A person can have the "tools" for sobriety but if they don't know what drives their addiction they will keep relapsing. At Nove we look at each case individually to assess what their personal barrier to recovery is. Though relapse is our specialty, we have found that people who have never been to treatment before are equally successful because our goal is to help our clients have their own experience with recovery not sell them ours.
