Well, first of all you have to wait nearly a week to get in, IF you are able to get in at all, which I was one of the luckier ones to have the displeasure of getting in. Once you are in, you don't get to leave. No visitors, and no outside communication. So basically you are in jail, only the food is worse and the sleeping arrangements are worse also. So if that alone doesn't give you incentive enough to get clean, then I don't know. I ended up leaving after a week and getting treatment at an outpatient facility that did wonders for me. I have been clean for over 4 months now from all drugs, and about to enter college for the first time after 20 years. So, you tell me, are in-patient rehabs any more effective than outpatient facilities? Well, it depends on if you really want help or not. If you are serious about getting clean, then it doesn't matter where you go, as long as you stick to your own principles and focus on what you really want. Some people have been doing drugs for so long that they are afraid of getting clean altogether. I think it depends on what you want inside, not where you are are what someone else can do for you. In the case of this place though, they are just a government system that is just broken.

Great
Mentoring was nice but there needs to be more time in the facility. Counselors were friendly and knowledgeable.

One on one time with patient was a strength of the facility; however, not enough staff. I loved the place...the only thing I didn't like was the detox part I was out of it, like a zombie.

Offers free treatment (paid by the State). This rehab is for those without income, or those who do not have insurance and cannot pay out of pocket. The building is extremely old, the elevators do not work, staff is not properly trained, almost non-existant medical care, and meals consist of donated food (Usually expired). They do however, offer a solid recovery program - it is simply no frills and not at all comfortable. Please see my answers regarding strength and weaknesses of the facility.

Their 12 step program was great but they need better outside activities. My dad has been clean for 3 years because of this program.
