Such an amazing place. However very disappointed in the direction they are going... replacement therpy like vivatral, is a temporary solution. Ibh has been doing miracles for years being a complete sober recovery rehab. It should stay that way.

IBH claims to hollistically treat addiction and dual-diagnosis. However, they do nit effectively treat other mental health disorders, nor do they help with co-occuring addictions. Therefore, I would also dispute the claim that it is individual oriented. While the individual and group counselors help with mental health disorders, they Adminitsrative director and the head counselor do not effectively address these concerns. Also the housing staff is not equipped to dealing with mental health disorders. If you have a mental health Diagnosis, I would not recommend going here.

It is a very good treatment program and they have a great success rate. Their 12 step program was great. I was displeased that outsiders were only allowed to come in for a meeting once a week.

I was a resident there in 2011 and I am still sober today. I.B.H helped me recognize my self defeating behaviors which kept reoccurring in my life .They helped me through programs and counseling to stay focused on myself and to learn to listen, ask for help, and forgive myself. I am truly grateful for them not giving up on me. Strengths of the facility included: compassion, fairness, location out of the city, organization, dedication to saving lives and lastly, outside communication is limited to a pay phone which helps keep the client focused on herself / himself and their recovery process. The only downfall was the availability of beds.

The people working when I was there were amazing strong relatable women. They keep you busy, which is beneficial. However, the AA felt forced.

I loved their exercise place, great food, great employees, AA meetings and visitation with family and friends. In addition, their fellowship and counseling help was excellent. However, I would have enjoyed if they offered meditation classes.

I live close to it and I heard wonderful things about the facility itself, how it was ran and the property is beautiful!. They did not have a lot of down time, they keep you very busy which I knew was extremely important for being brand new in sobriety.

Administration is passive aggressive towards staff and clients. One can just go to AA meetings and counseling and get better results.
