Kolmac offers a flimsy IOP program in large group settings (12-25 patients), which means not a lot of real therapy happens. The rare one-on-one sessions are primarily for paperwork, but there is not much in the lines of counseling. There are no written assignments, and it\'s easy to not participate if you don\'t want to. This format is fine for people returning home from inpatient treatment in need of a buffer of accountability, but for the person just coming out of active addiction I don\'t see this program holding much value. That said, the continuing care groups tend to be smaller, are long term and populated with people truly committed to sobriety. The DC facilities look like they haven\'t been renovated since the practice began several decades ago.

Very Good
Staff was a strength. Facilities were a bit outdated and hard to find the first time inhad a great outpatient experience here. No equipped for inpatient treatment but they had a good program to help acclimate into life and helped a lot in explaining my addiction.

Good
very experienced and wonderful counselors, multiple locations, education sessions, evening sessions, family support. I don't understand where all the money goes -- it's pretty run down. And surprisingly intolerant of relapses I feel like this rehab helped save my life. absolutely.
