Specialization

  • Individual Therapy
This term describes one-on-one therapy, in which a patient and trained counselor, social worker, psychologist or psychiatrist meets privately with a patient to discuss challenges related to lifestyle, work, family and romantic relationships that may have contributed to the development of an addiction.
  • 12-Step
The term “12 Step Program” describes a way to recover from addiction that is based on the model developed by Alcoholics Anonymous. Many drug and alcohol treatment centers base their treatment on 12 steps – the first three of which are situational, the next four addressing the practical issues created by the addiction, followed by two steps focused on making amends for hurting others. Steps 10 and 11 involve a deeper examination of the previous steps and the final step is focused on helping others avoid and recover from addiction.

I am a recovering addict and this place saved my life. I went in having depression, anxiety attack, and a meth addict. I didn't want to live but the staffs and fellow residents really support me throughout my recovery and now i am clean for 4 months and equip to face the world instead of just want to use meth to kill myself slowly. You have to be humble and really surrender all so the program can work you and not attempt to run your own progarm.

The luxurious Rena B saved my life, and If you are ready it can and will save yours..the entire staff from the kitchen to the director has something to offer IF you have an open mind and are READY for a new experiance... layaside everything you think you know about the steps, the book, the program, your disease (yes it is a disease), yourself, and ESPECIALLY everything you think you know about GOD.. You can always pick those beliefs back up later so don't throw them away just lay them aside for 60 or 90 days ....every single staff member has knowledge and are eager to give you some of that knowledge but you have to be open to receive it. You get feed physically, mentally, and spiritually. .i didn't want to use names out of respect for your privacy but y'all know who you are I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU ... You all have given me bits and pieces knowledge, love, guidance, strength, encouragement and hope I am forever grateful for the Rena B...

This place should be under government review. It appears that they week internal controls and they don't appear to have the patients best interest in mind. The staff is ill equipped to handle the seriousness of which they are being entrusted to do. They have a high turn-over rate which shows that they have week controls. They process payments and provide no accounting for those payments. The premises are not well kept, it looks like any run down ghetto, project housing unit. Suggestions- Prepare a mission statement and stick to it. replace the existing staff and get people in there that are professionals, not X addicts with limited use of the therapeutic techniques and languages. Bottom line this place is a mess and it will not treat anyone's addiction.
