Mountain peak recovery is not just a substance abuse treatment center but it's a spiritual awakening, these amazing people are dedicated to helping us change our lives and become better people along with providing us with coping skills and tools that we can you use and apply to our daily lives to remain clean and sober. I have been to other treatment programs before in the past and nothing and nowhere will ever amount up to what these amazing people have done for me and my family. I spent about 31 days up at their ranch the residential facility, where they were great with making me comfortable through my detox, they have an amazing chef and amazing mentors that dedicate there time taking us to the gym every morning as well as na/as meetings or activities.after that I spent about five months at their sober living and am currently still involved in their outpatient program, they have stood by my side through the good and the bad, they've supported me and everything that I am trying to do to better my life for myself and my family. They cheered me on through my successes and achievements, and they are there to lift me up on those hard days. The staff at mountain peaks recovery inspire me in so many ways just by their dedication to their clients. Process groups and educational groups are very helpful, they provide a very safe environment where I was able to learn how to trust again and processed through trauma and hardships I've experienced throughout my life. With mountain peaks recovery I know that I a support network. Thanks to MPR my recovery has moved from an attempt to a huge success.

I could write an entire book on how amazing Mountain Peak Recovery is but I will try to keep is simple and to the point! The evening I found out that my spouse was taken to Mountain Peak for recovery was the day I thought my life and our relationship was over. When I was able to go visit I was welcomed with open arms of kindness, love, positive reinforcement, patience. Even the others that were at the home for recovery are amazing individuals that have such a new sense to life. Mountain Peak is a beautiful facility with clean and organized space. The scenery is breath taking and refreshing. They always have someone on shift to be around if someone needs extra help if a moment is too tough and keeping them on task. Each individual has a daily schedule, they are always kept very busy, minds focused on recovery. This is NOTHING compared to any other facility Utah has to offer, Mountain Peak has such a different approach to recovery and that is finding the real source of why that individual may have started his or hers addiction. Digging deep in conversations either with group meetings or private sessions. No medications are used at the facility and if you need even a Tylenol you have to get it approved. The focus on keeping them all safe is incredible and to not have any triggers around to ignite old habits. The owners are involved and you will meet them at the facility at times. Mountain Peak does an amazing job at nutrition also for the individuals staying for recovery, they even have a chef that comes in and makes meals. Good meals, kinda jealous myself. They are encouraged to exercise, drink plenty of water daily. They have goals to meet at a certain time and to me that is a great start to a new life for them. Goals are something we all need and it makes us human's feel more accomplished. They are able to call home and speak with you when it is approved but they do give you your privacy to speak. After the individual has graduated from the Ranch they do continue on to intensive out patient treatments and they also have a sober living facility. I love that you continue on your journey as you learn how to live again in the world and around your loved ones. I would never suggest anyone to go anywhere else but Mountain Peak if they needed the help. They treat everyone life their own family member not a patient. Thank you Mountain Peak for helping my spouse and saving a life! We would not be where we are today without you all!

My son entered Mountain Peaks 6 months ago today. A son I had given up hope for every getting better. He is now thriving thanks to the caring staff at Mt. Peaks. I dropped off a very ill young man and today have a happy, healthy son. Words can’t describe how thankful I am for the staff at Mt. Peaks. Today a second son entered Mountain Peaks to begin his journey. I completely trust that he too will find the tools he needs to live a life of sobriety.

Mountain Peak Recovery is not your typical textbook treatment center. The staff has gone above and beyond to help make sure I had the tools, resources and understanding of my addiction so that I could become and agent in recovery instead of a helpless addict. I gained a family and solid support system that has remained a big part if my life even after graduation. I owe MPR my life.

I have had substance abuse issues for 28 years ranging from pills to needles and alcohol. I thought at times I would never get clean because I had tried IIP, IOP, sobered up in jail planning on never again. Promised my family. None of it worked. Came to mountain Peak in May 1st of 2018. I was terrified and felt hopeless and just wanted my addiction to go away. The first thing they helped me get stable on meds and establish a sleep pattern. Right off the bat you get up every morning together and go to the gym and get the body regulating itself. The food is really very good prepared by a trained chef and plentiful and I put on weight to a healthy level and got color back. Right away I got busy. There was not a lot of time with group process therapy, recreation therapy, education groups. There's a program called Addict II Athlete that provides fellowship and participating in community events like 5 and 10 KS. Half and full marathons and ultra marathons. The program is about knowing you can do hard things and replacing old behaviors with new ones through activities called Erase And Replace. Coaches give life lessons and work with you to be a better you through exercise and mental conditioning. All throughout the week we were doing groups on location and hitting twelve step and other recovery meetings. Lots of fun stuff thrown in. It's right in the middle of nowhere. The mountains and blue sky are all that's around except a few cars here and there on the highway. There are not a lot of distractions to keep you from focusing on the work in front of you. It's a lot of work. Staff is there for you. Period. Those guys are trained and selected because they have empathy and experience and are genuine. The therapists are great. You come away from those sessions tired because they work you hard on things like core issues, core values and beliefs, acceptance and expectations, self love, the difference between guilt and shame, healthy boundaries. They don't sidestep and go right to the source. They know what they're doing. I was able to developed a personal relationship to every person in the organization. That is how real these people are. It may be a job but I don't think it's about the job but that it's about the cause. Recovery works if you work it. I have been here in Utah at this point 9 months in recovery and it all began at Mountain Peak and I would strongly suggest that it was the last chance I had at this and they were and are capable of influencing and enabling self discovery that an almost 30 years of abuse Junkie was able to come back into the light and feel worthy of life's blessings. -Jeff Bolton

Great
The most helpful thing for me was that the staff there truly cared about me and every one of their clients. They're not in it for the money, they really care. Overall the staff is the best thing about the facility. Also their location is amazing. They're located up in the mountains without distractions of the urban jungle. The location is very therapeutic in itself.

First class location, food, and staff. Can't say enough about this place. The staff is definitely the greatest strength of the facility, followed by its remote location.

I actually had 2 family members receive treatment at Mountain Peak. Mountain Peak literally saved my family. I have nothing but positive things to say about the entire program, facility, staff and feel like they are all a part of my family including the clients I grew to know at that time. I LOVE Mountain Peak Recovery and am so grateful to have them a part of my family's life. They will ALWAYS be a part of our lives and would highly recommend and encourage anyone who is struggling with addiction to go to this amazing treatment facility. I would even help direct them there! Love this program!I cannot think of any weaknesses. The program is strong. The facility is beautuful . The scenery is breathtaking. The staff are skilled in their areas and very attentive. The outcome is more than I imagined it could be.

Two of my family members went to treatment at Mountain Peak Recovery and it was the best thing that ever happened. In reality it was our entire family that healed from this experience. MPR opened up the way for us to be a family. I am so grateful and blessed to have MPR in our lives. From the beautiful location to the entire staff, I cant express in words what an awesome experience this was for us. They are our family now too. A part of our lives forever. The most awesome people to work with. I know I can call them at any time I feel I need some support as the wife and mother of not one but two alumni. I recommend Mountain Peak Recovery to anyone searching for help to break the chains of addiction. Not only for the addict but to heal their entire family!

The worst therapist I have ever seen. He constantly says to clients it is a privilege to know him he doesn’t schedule appointments and wants u to come talk to him. I never felt comfortable talking to him and had the worst experience of recovery after having been to other rehabs. At all costs do not attend this rehab there are better facilities in Utah. Being trapped in the mountains with a narcissistic Mormon therapist is not something I recommend for anyone wanting to recover

I needed a place where I could recover and heal from my addictions with a very individualized treatment plan. My needs and concerns were somewhat challenging at times and the staff at MPR always addressed them with a compassionate and caring attitude. The therapists went above and beyond to help me heal and prepare me for my life in recovery. I loved the intimate home like setting, the food was top notch, and the mountains are MAJESTIC! The support I continue to receive even after completing the program is amazing and has touched my heart. I have a new family for LIFE, and a new LIFE for my family. The entire Mountain Peak crew have redefined Residential Treatment and my experience there was BARNONE! #isurvivedthemountainpeak!!!!

I tried to get people to respond to help me. No responses. Classy. I basically begged for help and no one seemed to want to return my calls or messages. Thanks guys. I really needed help but now know that addicts to athletes and this place ate only in it for the money and publicity.

I went through this rehab and I must say it was a very spiritual and special experience. Between the staff and tools and therapy offered by this place it is a 5-star recommendation most definitely. They help you work on your core issues to address and process them so you may be able to move past all the issues that people's addiction stem from. You find your true identity as long as your willing to put forth the effort to change your life. In Between Mountain Peak Recovery and my effort put forth I have been able to go from being in prison about half my life to having college in my future and set goals that will make me extremely successful in life. Thank You.

I am a graduate of Mountain Peak Recovery inpatient treatment. Let me first say this. Words always fall short when describing anything that impacts a life like my experience at MPR has mine. I have spent decades in and out of jails, prisons and rehabs. I have seen many things in my life but never have I experienced something quite like this. Most rehabs I have been a part of focus on the "syptoms" of addiction. The competent staff at Mountain Peak uses a unique method of getting to the root of the problem. Identifying my core issues and learning how to process trauma from my distant past has changed how I view myself. I have learned that I am worth all the good and love this world has to offer. These are the things that I "think" about MPR but there is something else that I "believe". Any time there is something that brings light to places in the heart that have dwelt in darkness there resides a special spirit. From the moment I walked in the door there at the ranch I was accutely aware of the spirit that dwells there. Every single client that comes in testifies of the same experience. Mountain Peak Recovery is a place of healing.

strength:Clinical Team, Location, Variety of Modalities, Nutrition, Fitness, Spiritually-driven, Medical Team, Peer Mentors, Comfort, Cleanliness weakness:None that I can find I have worked here for 3 weeks and have been extremely impressed with this company. I have worked in the treatment world for the last 10 years. Mountain Peak is full of people who genuinely care about the client's best interest. The environment is spectacular. It is nestled about 8 miles up Spanish Fork canyon, and you couldn't experience a more beautiful, serene place. The clinical team is incredible. They cover a wide range of modalities to cater to each individual needs. I would recommend Mountain Peak Recovery residential, IOP, and sober living to anyone who is looking for exceptional treatment and the best clinical team in Utah.
