Program worked well for my loved one. However, billing and accounting records a nightmare. Nothing in writing and payments demanded in cash with no records showing ever provided to insurance. Highly questionable business practices. Check your insurance eobs very carefully. Beware and check reviews before going here.

Treatment was adequate. My loved one bought into 12 steps and did well from a therapeutic perspective. My loved one felt supported and developed several positive relationships with a few staff members. Financial charges are inaccurate. Aggressive in collecting cash payments to be paid directly to the facility. Questionable insurance billing practices. Does not honor contracts between insurance company. Terrible, unethical and grossly inaccurate financial procedures.

This place saved my life! If you're truly ready to make a change in your life this is the place to do it at. The people who wrote the negative comments weren't ready to make that change yet. So again if you're ready for revovery start here. It's the best decision i've ever made in my life. Thank you to all the staff at this facility.

This place only caused further grief. Find another facility to attend. The owner is condescending and uses hollow threats to try and scare you to stay and pay. Business clearly takes precedence over support or treatment.

New Hope upon checking in that I would be in their in house treatment for 30 days. This was not true I was placed in their out patient program after 20 days. Because new hope charged more than Blue Cross would cover. Then the same resulr with the out patient program. I know this because I called my insurance. They also sent me monthly statements of what they paid. Mind binding charges by new hope. While their ypu can learn to clean up after yourself and the very basics of recovery. The family groups wasnt good for me because I dont think sharing family issues with strangers and their family was helpful and I didn't care to hear other clients ss well. When your insurance and cash has run dry they release you from programs and want nothing to do with you. VERY HYPOCRITICAL! I truly hope that other clients have a much better experience.

The man who owns the Building is very rude and demeaning. Me and my loved one came for help and all he did was talk down on us and they do not discuss which insurances they take before the make you pay their $100 nonrefundable fee for filling out their quesionare.

Cold turkey detox is a nightmare. But safe place they should add medical treatment for other issues (mental, pain). Agree about staff not very professional they lie too much and treatment is based on insurance and cash not needs. Food and accommodations was good. Family group needs some work tearing people down with no tools or solution. Disfunction does create bond or fellowship with the residents to reach outside programs for help.

Connecting with outside programs upon discharge Lack of alternative programs like yoga, acupuncture The staff genuinely cares about helping you become the best you can be...very caring and supportive people. I was given many tools to use and fall back on and knew I had the support of many when I was on my own.

Great
The ability to have clients dig deep within themselves to find the underlining issues that made the client turn to drugs and or alcohol was a strength of the facility. Not enough staff. Overall this facility is great and I would recommend to someone for treatment.

New Hope Provides room to grow on your own. The 30 day blackout stinks. The New Hope program is a family orientated program they encourage your family to come see you and that is motivation in a real way

New Hope individualizes treatment for all of our clients. Normally our "black out" period is 72 hours. I'm glad you got your needs met.

Strengths: Strong Recovery treatment, visits to outside meetings. Weaknesses: too much drama, not very well organized. Solid facility, just feel like it could be better.

I believe there was too much personality over program there. There was a lot of folks straight out of prison and it was mostly geared towards their needs. ... didn't offer any holistic opportunities. It was in my humble opinion very unprofessional. There are much better programs and services out there. The rules were changed constantly and staff behaved unprofessionally.

Regretfully I can't comment on "AW's" experience without any specifics; however, I can say with certainty that we are a fairly structured program. One of the purposes for structure is to eliminate the "personality" issue potential and create an air of equanimity - everyone follows the same guidelines. I can also say that New Hope clients come from all walks of life. Whether a person is a former inmate, a nurse, an attorney or a plumber; everyone deserves the same respect and dignity to recovery from a life threatening disease. I'm the owner of this facility and I know all of my staff professionally and personally (it's one of the benefits of being a sole proprietor v. a corporation) and humiliation is not part of treatment here nor is it "in" any of my staff as part of their avocation. That being said I'm open to hearing from our alums about our services. Feel free to reach out to me directly. Thanks, Gene Radino
