New Hope Recovery Center applies a client-centered approach to addiction treatment, providing both holistic and traditional evidenced-based therapies to individuals struggling with substance abuse. New Hope features a comprehensive range of addiction treatment services, offering both residential and intensive outpatient programs as well as aftercare support services for those who have successfully completed treatment. New Hope Recovery Center also offers an Emerging Adults Program, providing young adults ages 18-26 with the recovery resources and education they need to navigate the difficult transition into adulthood while maintaining their sobriety. New Hope recognizes the need for a specialized LGBTQI program, and therefore offers additional resources for members of the LGBTQI community struggling with addiction.

Meet The Staff

Jeffrey Zacharias LCSW, CSAT, CAADC, BRI-I
Clinical Director/President

Jeff is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor (CAADC), Board Registered Interventionist (BRI-I), Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and Registered Dual Disorder Professional (RDDP) with extensive clinical experience in both the mental health and addictions fields. Currently, he is the President/Clinical Director of New Hope Recovery Center located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. Additionally, he has a private practice in the Lincoln Square area. His areas of interest including working with all aspects of addiction, severe and persistent mental health issues, personality disorders, trauma and its impact on recovery, hoarding and other obsessive-compulsive disorders and issues within the LGBTQI community. Jeff is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the National Associations for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC) as well as the National Association of Lesbian and Gay Addiction Professionals (NALGAP) where he is on the Board of Directors. He has had articles published in “Praxis: Where Reflection and Practice Meet”, “Addiction Professional” magazine and “Renew” magazine where he writes a monthly blog entitled “Recovering with Pride” which is focused on recovery issues within the LGBTQI community.

Bradd Easton J.D., MAS, BS
Chief Executive Officer

Bradd Easton graduated from the University of Illinois (BS – Finance and Masters in Accountancy) and received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Bradd joined New Hope Recovery Center after more than 25 years of executive experience at three Fortune 500 Chicago companies. As Chief Executive Officer of New Hope Recovery Center, Bradd has been focusing on building New Hope’s recognition nationwide by implementing new marketing strategies, working on search engine optimization for our website presence and researching new advertising channels. He has been an integral part of rebranding New Hope Recovery Center as a client centered facility. He has diligently worked on building new relationships within the recovery community, specifically with programs that assist the LGBT population. He is also a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional and has taken the lead in getting New Hope Recovery Center accredited by the Joint Commission. He is a member of American Bar Association, Chicago Northshore Compliance Officers and Chicago Regional Business Ethics Network.
