Philosophy

We are a group of friends from the greater Boston community helping others to recover from alcoholism & addiction. We do not subscribe to a single treatment model because we believe each individual case needs to be examined uniquely. NEATC is an outstanding experience on an outstanding platform, trusted like drug & alcohol rehabilitation should be. Our innovative evidence-based approach proves case-by-case care for addiction is more crucial than ever.

Testimonials

  • "As a parent I have nothing but praise for this program! The staff is amazing and this is the first place that my son has shown real promise in his recovery! They have worked well with us financially also so I'm not sure what the comment about them taking advantage is about. I can not praise them enough in my eyes. thank you so much for giving this mother HOPE!"
  • "My experience with NEATC has been unbelievable and i am very grateful that i made the decision to come back here. I feel as if i have a purpose in life now."
  • "Coming to Northeast has been the most gratifying decision i have ever made. I will be forever grateful for the gift of sobriety that they have shared with me."
  • "Great program for anyone than needs help with addiction! Life changing experience and a very unique approach to recovery. This includes therapy, groups, and sober living to the AA aspect of it, which has really helped many create a foundation for a successful life in sobriety. I've experienced all phases of the program and it really helps you get back into the real world gradually, so you can live life again along with the help of a strong community and network."
  • "I can honestly say that without the tools NEATC laid out for me i would not be where i am today. My family is back in my life and i am back on my career path."
  • "This program saved my sons life. After numerous attempts and treatment centers, he finally committed and went into Northeast ATC. The program and people there really do know how to help. I will be forever thankful to their dedication and compassion in helping my son on his journey of recovery."
  • "Northeast Addictions Treatment Center was a very powerful influence of my sister's life. When she arrived, she was a mess..coherent only half the time and difficult to talk to. Drug and alcohol addiction had destroyed her life, and any semblance of normalcy was pretty much out the window. We didn't know where else to turn. A friend of mine, who had similar struggles with addiction had recommended Northeast to us. Having had little experience in this area, I wanted to send my sister to a place that had been a positive experience for someone I actually knew. After spending nearly three months in treatment, she left the treatment center with a renewed sense of purpose, with the support of her family and an amazing post-care support system. She shared with me some of her experiences while in treatment and how she was given proper guidance from staff on how to stay close to the people and places that were positive influences that would help keep her sober. She has since been attending weekly meetings with others and events that she claims have kept her sober during times where she worried about relapsing. This isn't just a treatment center, it's a place where people can have a chance to get their life back....where they can gain control and get on top of the triggers that have been ruining their lives. Thank you Northeast! You are a Godsend! I would recommend this facility to anyone struggling with addiction."
  • "I went through this place as well, and my entire life changed in more and better ways than I ever thought possible. I have no idea where I would be if I hadn't came to northeast. This place saved my very life."

Our grandson recently completed your program. Our hearts are overjoyed with gratitude for how healthy he is as compared to eight months ago. Those last few days before he went into detox were some of the worse days of our lives, desperate phone calls from his mother, anxiety that we were losing him forever. We asked God to intervene before irreparable harm came to him or others. Twenty four hours later, he was pulled over for running a red light! The beginning of getting our grandson back! So, so grateful for your treatment center helping him to see his worth and giving him the tools to help him live a recovering life.

Very Good
12-step based treatment done right. What you put into it is what you get out of it. It shows you a path to walk on that can be fulfilling while being sober, eventually letting go of your hand and letting you run with it. Food/amenities all that not the best but what do you expect- it's not some fancy treatment center in warm weather for relaxing while being sober. Its purpose is to show you that life is going to happen and how to deal with it being sober, and it does it in incremental phases. I owe my life to this place and for what it's taught me.

Haven't encountered a place quite like this in my life. Entered here some time back, and it has been an amazing journey since. The staff are caring, kind, and professional to the utmost, the facilities are top of the line, and the experience I had here was incredible. Everyone that I encountered here was highly personable and effective and truly passionate about what they do. This place went above and beyond to cater to my needs, and helped me in ways are are beyond requirement. Would recommend this place to anyone that is personally struggling or who has a loved one who is struggling. Simply put, if you have an issue with addiction, this is the place to go in order to put yourself in a position which would maximize success. It saved my life, and for that I am forever thankful.

This is the best program! I came here with addiction to drugs and massive anxiety. This program saved my life but also changed it for the better. What helped me the most was great therapy, groups, and pushing me on sober living with the AA aspect of it, which has really helped many create a foundation for a successful life in sobriety. I attended all phases of the program and it helped me gradually go back to my life with confidence to stay clean and sober. It was really fun too! I made some best friends. Thank you Northeast!

Northeast saved my life. Theyre incredibly vested in helping their patients get clean. I've met alot of my best friends in recovery there and continue to stay plugged in with them at the alumni group. The solution is to work the steps, take the suggestions and help others. I found that at Northeast. I would recommend going here if you need help.

Strengths:None Weakness:They promised a scholarship to me after I paid the first month. Then on the 3rd week they told me I had to start paying or I had to leave. I had no money and no where to go. They told me it was a strong 12 step program but it is not.
