Nick came to RCA in May 2019 with over 10 years of experience in the behavioral health field, during which he treated both substance use and other mental health disorders. A strong understanding of the continuum of addiction and mental health services is one of Nick’s biggest strengths, having done clinical work in private practice, intensive outpatient programs, partial care settings, and inpatient environments. Nick places a high value on individualized and long-term care, where he sees an opportunity for patients to not only learn about recovery concepts but to practice them with the support of their treatment team. He is a Level II Reiki practitioner and strong advocate for using holistic services to supplement traditional treatment. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling, Nick returned as an adjunct professor working with post graduate students seeking their clinical degrees. Nick has a passion for clinical supervision and counselor education, seeing this as the way to ensure patients are receiving the best quality of care.More
