Karen Peters is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over fifteen years’ experience in the behavioral health and social service field. Ms. Peters' clinical experience covers a diverse spectrum, and she is able to employ various treatment strategies to best suit her clients. Ms. Peters has experience working in office and community-based settings, for large non-profit organizations, mid-sized groups, and smaller private settings. Ms. Peters utilizes a variety of strategies and techniques to provide individualized treatment to each of her clients. As Clinical Director at Reflections of Recovery, Ms. Peters provides clinical oversight to the clinical team to help ensure you receive quality clinical services. Karen Peters earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, and her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Troy State University. Ms. Peters trained under experienced clinician and a behavior analyst, giving her a healthy blend of experience with both counseling and behavioral strategies that she implements with her clients on a daily basis. Ms. Peters is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida (MH8663) and is also a Board Qualified Supervisor. Ms. Peters joined the Reflections of Recovery team in February 2016.More
