Everlasting Recovery

Philosophy

Addiction is a force that moves individuals away from their initial value systems and falsely convinces them that they have no choice in their life. While attending Sanctuary at Cherry Hill, we work to reframe our clients’ mindsets and put the choice back in the hands of the individual. While most addiction treatment programs work to guide patients back to status quo, Sanctuary Health’s goal is to advance our client’s lives past the baseline and improve their existence by directly integrating recovery treatment with daily life improvements. Through our treatment, Sanctuary at Cherry Hill seeks out where clients are discontent in their lives, which generally links to addictive tendencies. Once identified, we help our client’s improve aspects where they are struggling. Addiction destroys individual’s passion and commitment to life, our Everlasting Recovery program gives our clients their journeys and lives back. Everlasting Recovery provides patients the best opportunity to achieve sustainable recovery.

My loved one went to this facility and I am highly disappointed. Firstly, there is no family/ loved ones interaction or communication. Almost all ties are cut off, which is difficult for you as a loved one at home who is holding down the fort while the person is getting help. To be left in the dark is just wrong. Even if releases are signed for you their therapist or counselor still doesn’t return phone calls. Also, I was told visiting hours were Sunday from 1-5 so I drove 3.5 hours away in the mountains to see my loved one only to hve the state police called on me because it wasn’t visiting hours! if you want any relationship with your loved ones do not I repeat do not send them to the sanctuary!!!

Excellent
I attended Sanctuary after going to a bunch of rehabs and I have to say, this program is different from all of the rest. Sanctuary staff has a lot of knowledge on the disease of addiction and how to treat clients to set them up for long term recovery. I was not only taught how to stop using, but how to really live a sober life and be a productive member of society. Sanctuary also continued to follow up with me after I completed to make sure I was still applying the skills I learned there and was following through with my aftercare plan. I really felt that I was cared about and that staff treated me like an individual, and not just another body passing through their program. If you're struggling, definitely reach out to Sanctuary, they WILL be there to help you and I know this because of how they helped me!
