  • Client & Family Support Groups
Group therapy is a vital component of addiction recovery treatment, considered as important and effective (sometimes even more so) than individual therapy. Benefits include reducing isolation and loneliness and providing the opportunity to learn from others in recovery. In the addiction setting, group therapy is run by trained professionals who guide participants toward a shared goal of recovery.

This boarding school had malicious intents. They gave no to little care to any of the patients, and only cared for their parents money. I was a student who attended this school for mild anxiety and trauma. This school gave me PTSD and I only have nightmares about ever going back to this place. Once my parents realized how poorly treated everyone was, they took me out ASAP. The education here is a joke, there is very little staff, and aggressive students that can\'t be handled.

My daughter has not been at Sedona Sky very long but so far their communication with our family has been amazing. My daughter knows why she is there and is getting the help she needs. The academic director made sure my daughter is continuing her classes that she left off with at high school. I contacted other parents before sending my daughter here and they said Sedona Sky had saved their daughters lives.

Sedona Sky is not a rehab. It’s a place for teenage girls to get therapy for many issues facing them. My niece is attending And the therapists are amazing and the communication with families is Beyond good. This is not a lock down school - it’s like an East coast boarding high school that has a regular classes including honors classes. The girls are constantly off campus taking road trips and volunteering. My niece enjoys going to the gym that is off campus. So far, Sedona Sky is more than helping our niece. We are pleased. I suggest touring this school if you are looking for a safe place for your girl.

My step daughter went here not for addiction but to reconnect with our family and to help her with depression and school anxiety. She did not stay for the entire program but she received the help she needed and also attended school with some great teachers. She met some great friends also.

I worked at SSA as an overnight mentorin 2016 while searching for an internship for a Master's Degree in professional counseling. Staff and management was extremely unprofessional. When I inquired for a n internship position I accidentally saw an email from HR, management, and clinical director that I was slow, socilally awkward, and how could I possibly counsel students in the middle of the night during my shift? I now have a successful practice and realize how ludicrous this was.
