The staff's passion for recovery is inspiring. The work atmosphere is one of love, compassion and understanding. You are always encouraged to be a better you! Adolescent alcohol/substance use can be terrifying and stressful to a family. Stonewater offers a one of a kind treatment model that not only helps its patients, buts also helps the family heal as a whole. I am so blessed to get to witness the healing of so many lives.

The staff understands addiction from being in recovery themselves or having a family member in recovery and the road it takes to get to the place to give back to the ones needing recovery .

facility is clean and well maintained well trained, supportive staff. Stonewater is a wonderful place to work. We are a family who is passionate about helping those in need of recovery. We want our patients to learn how to become responsible, productive members of society. We want to help them find their God-given purpose and learn the skills necessary to choose disciplined, transformed lives. I have personally witnessed some of these positive changes in those participating in treatment at Stonewater. It is so refreshing to be a part of what takes place in the lives of the individuals we serve.

Solid leadership; clinically trained staff; peaceful location. It's new and needs to develop a solid reputation. Stonewater has one of the best staff to patient ratios I've ever seen in the industry. Everyone is committed to working with adolescents. School is offered onsite. Health is also greatly encouraged. No fried chicken nuggets ever at this facility. It's well balanced nutrition.

Great
The setting is a home type setting which adolescents are more receptive to in treatment. There is a mixture of staff who are in recovery and those who have not personally dealt with addiction issues, so the perspectives of all staff make this a great place for adolescents. There is a lake, a weight room/gym, basketball, volleyball, equine roundpin (equine therapy in the near future to start), meals prepared by an executive chef which are decided upon by a registered dietitian, and the schedule is nicely put together. The boys have plenty of time for schoolwork, reading, leisure activities, and still maintain their program at Stonewater. It is a new facility so there are still changes being made to the employee schedule, policies, etc. but that is to be expected. Communication between staff needs to improve a great deal to help things flow easier from day to day. This is a great facility/program from what I know. The employees are truly dedicated to helping these boys get to a place in their life where the addiction is a memory rather than a struggle. The Nurses, Clinical Assistants, counselors/therapists, and everyone involved want the best for everyone who comes thru their doors. If we can positively affect the patient long term, then we have also positively affected the family and friends of that patient long term, and hopefully broken an unforgiving cycle of addiction

The facility is authentic; the staff understands first hand what the patient is going through. Each patient receives a customized level of care. The facility emphasizes the importance of the patient finding ways to become positively involved in activities and community which will help the patient to successfully pursue recovery. Stonewater was founded by a family that understands what young people are struggling with and how those things not only affect the young person but affect the entire family as well. Stonewater is passionate about helping adolescents and families find recovery.

Stonewater is a beautiful, safe, home-like treatment center where the staff truly care about each patient as an individual. They are passionate about adolescents and helping them develop the tools for lifelong recovery, as opposed to just completing the 90 day treatment program. Residential program is male only, ages 12-17. Stonewater creates individualized treatment programs for each adolescent according to his/her specific needs and experiences. The clinical team with Masters-level therapists and 24/7 nursing staff help to ensure the safety and success of each patient. Stonewater takes private insurance and even has a financing option to help with deductibles or paying out of pocket if necessary.
