Specialization

  • Client & Family Support Groups
Group therapy is a vital component of addiction recovery treatment, considered as important and effective (sometimes even more so) than individual therapy. Benefits include reducing isolation and loneliness and providing the opportunity to learn from others in recovery. In the addiction setting, group therapy is run by trained professionals who guide participants toward a shared goal of recovery.
  • Detox
Though not all rehab facilities offer “medical detoxification,” all people with an addiction to drugs or alcohol will experience intense physical and emotional changes and discomfort as their bodies react to withdrawal of the addictive substance. Many people use the term “detox” to refer to the period of time (ranging from a few days to a week) when the body is reacting to an addict’s decision to stop using.
  • Individualized Treatment
Some facilities have an addiction treatment protocol that all patients or clients are expected to follow, while others customize or individualize treatment based on a person’s unique needs and circumstances. Factors that may affect treatment decisions include age, lifestyle, medical conditions, type of drug, religious beliefs, etc.

ABOUT SYNERGY EXECUTIVE

Located in the heart of the Ozarks of Missouri, Synergy Executive is an upscale executive treatment center that brings together scenic landscapes and evidence-based, holistic services to help men with issues of mental health, trauma, and substance use.

One of just 61 (23.7 percent) of private facilities in the state of Missouri, the long-term program is one of just 86 (34.2 percent) that’s dedicated exclusively to men and one of 28 (10.9 percent) that lasts 30 days or more.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Residential treatment offers men a holistic curriculum of evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavior (DBT) therapy, educational classes, and both 12-Step and SMART Recovery meetings. Treatment is customized to meet men “where they are”; the average length of stay is 30 to 90 days here.

The program promotes physical exercise and nutrition, offering regular health screenings and interventions where needed. Men focus on a range of topics, including anger management, grief and loss, and healthy relationships. Individual, group, and family therapy is offered and those with trauma benefit from eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR).

STAFF CREDENTIALS

The staff consists of licensed professional counselors (LPC), a family physician, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners and registered nurses, and state-licensed Missouri Associate Alcohol and Drug Counselors (MAADC).

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES

Clients stay in a 16,000 square foot home that’s located on 37 acres of natural Ozark forestry. Rooms are private with a private bath and men are encouraged to play on a one-hole golf course, swim, and play tennis.

The campus has **waterfalls inside and outside for self-reflection and meditation and a barn and horse stable. *Gourmet chefs* prepare three healthy meals daily** and snacks.

My experience at Synergy Executive far exceeded my expectations. The accommodations and atmosphere inspire clients to feel safe, comfortable, and positive. Being at Synergy Executive inspired me daily to work on myself as a whole: mentally, physically, and spiritually. The facility was clean, comfortable, and offered a wide range of activities that always left me with a sense of peace and accomplishment. The staff as a whole from the chefs, to the RAs, to the counselors and instructors are ever willing to listen to you at any time of the day. The access to such good people who genuinely care about my well-being was so critical to my recovery. I have the utmost respect for all things Synergy Executive and have complete confidence that the skills and tools I was provided in my time at the center has given me a solid foundation and a plan to move forward with my success in recovery.

To all at Synergy, Thank you is an understatement for the support you provided to me. Anyone that finds your facility should run toward you. The education, friendship, support, caring, beds, food, recreation, counciling, medical, kindness, staff, is a partial list of what Synergy provides! In many ways you changed my life for the better, for that I am grateful! Everyone there makes you feel special, all the time. 5 stars is too low a bar at Synergy, they are better than that! I know because I was a client there. Thanks again, Steve
