Dr. Walter Brooks is the founding President and CEO of Tangu, founded in Atlanta, GA in 1993. Dr. Brooks holds a PhD in Professional Counseling and Psychology and is a board certified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS), among many professional credentials. Mindy Mccarty is the Clinical Director at Tangu Recovery, and Cobb County DUI court. Mrs. Mccarty graduated with her masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University in December 2017, and is in the process of pursuing licensure to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. Mrs. McCarty is a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CDAC II), and has been working in the field since 2015. She is currently enrolled in the doctoral program at Argosy University for Counseling Education and Supervision. Mrs. McCarty has been in recovery for over 9 years. Her passion is working with substance abuse and trauma clientele. She has been trained in several trauma curriculums such as; EMDR, Seeking Safety, and TREM.More
Sanjay Pardasani is a devoted substance abuse counselor with several years of experience in regards to addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. As a graduate of Georgia State University at the top of his class, Sanjay holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Mr. Pardasani is also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CDAC II). Additional certifications include Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), Anger Management for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Clients, and Breaking the Chains of Trauma curricula. Yolanda McClain is a certified Substance Abuse Addiction Counselor (SAAC) working with Tangu and the Cobb County DUI court. With over 20 years of experience and a Masters Degree of Social Work and MRT Certification, Yolanda is devoted to helping clients overcome addiction and aspects which contribute to substance abuse such as depression, anxiety, and other stressors. McClain believes healing is a collaborative endeavor which requires earnest, judgement-free compassion.
