The Meadows
I was an inpatient of the meadows 8 years ago . It saved my life and my family. I was severely codependent and suffering from PTSD . Everyone single person at the meadows works together to heal and give you the tools to live a more meaningful life. Your peers are also part of your journey and recovery and support system. I still struggle and have to work hard at it . I’m grateful to g-d for giving me the chance and ability to have been a patient of the meadow and I try to continue to connect to all the wonderful alumni activities they have. Embark Recovery is the best treatment center to attend in the US! I am from New Jersey and I had the best possible help from the peers and therapists. They taught me basic life skills and how to cope with everyday life. The therapist helped me through my toughest times and taught me how to move through traumatic experiences in my life. My Case Managers were attentive and made sure all of my needs were met. They arranged all doctors appointments and coached my family through this entire process.
