Embark Recovery Center is owned and operated by individuals who have suffered from the disease of addiction first hand, and know the struggles our clients deal with day in and day out. Our vision is to give back to our community by leveraging our experience and providing the same opportunity for success that was given to us. Our staff shows our clients a path to recovery using proven methodologies, access to experienced professionals and by utilization of real life examples of their own successes.

Research shows that the odds of successful, sustained recovery from addiction are far higher when family members and loved ones are involved in treatment. Drug and alcohol addiction often have genetic roots, whether related to substance abuse, mental illness or both. Family dynamics also play a role and, often, family members are the first to realize a loved one has developed an addiction. Also, it’s important for family members to understand and embrace the lifestyle changes that are required to sustain recovery.

Meet the Staff
Taylor WoodDirector of OperationsWas born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and grew up in Glendale, Arizona. He attended Arizona State University for business and education. He came to Prescott, Arizona back in 2012. It has been a dream of Taylors’ to open a reliable structured program for men since entering the field many years ago. Taylor has experienced the life of addiction, treatment, and recovery and now finds every day to be a gift. He has worked in all surfaces of Treatment from residential director, family liaison and program director. He Strives to bring integrity and passion to Embark. He has established a dynamic way of helping clients that brings about change, hope, and joy for the addicts alike. Taylor has dedicated his life to help people suffering from the same disease and makes it his goal to help others obtain long-term sobriety..
Ryan ButlerDirector of Family ServicesWas born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2008 Ryan moved out west to Arizona, where he attended Arizona State University. In 2012 he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a focus on Entrepreneurship. Through his own personal experiences and knowledge, Ryan finds that Embark Recovery is the perfect match for his set of skills and personal goals. Through working his own program, Ryan has mastered how to apply principles such as integrity, passion, and hard work into his career. His role as the Director of Family Services assists in his desires to not only help those abusing drugs and alcohol, but the family as well.
