As an alumnus of Sabino Recovery, I have to say that my experience here was life-changing! When I arrived, I had a vague expectation of what I would accept as a successful treatment stay, but the reality of my experience was so much more than anything I had ever imagined! I was treated for rage disorder, major depression, trauma/PTSD and work addiction. Additionally, I had no real memory recall of my past. The Sabino community helped me to develop healthy tools to manage my emotions and experiences in a truly nurturing environment. The work was not easy, but I could not have done it without the entire Sabino community! The staff and residents create a safe, healthy family environment within which to do the work, and support you through the hard times and your accomplishments. I have no reservations whatsoever about fully endorsing and recommending Sabino Recovery! It may not be for everyone, but it was certainly exactly what I needed to heal! Thank you, my Sabino family!!
Sent my son there. It worked and he’s sober ! Used my insurance and it covered most everything. Great staff and real nice center and home.
Strengths: Staff has a strong recovery background, strong 12 culture, knowledgeable regarding the detox/withdraw process and different ways to help clients experiencing symptoms. Weaknesses: They could use massage or perhaps acupuncture therapy. This is a wonderful facility, all the staff is caring and supportive. They do 12 step immersion and provide masters levels therapist as well as life coaching. Yoga is amazing and there is music therapy. They teach life skills in a real world setting, giving the clients the opportunity to learn how to live independently in the real world once they leave treatment.
