Based in Scottsdale, Ariz., SpringBoard Recovery provides outpatient treatment and sober living to adults struggling with substance use disorder. The facility is also among the 58.9 percent of treatment centers in the state to provide specialized groups for clients with co-occurring disorders. While detox services are not available on-site, SpringBoard Recovery can refer clients to affiliated detox facilities.


SpringBoard Recovery follows the disease model of addiction and its programs are designed to support both the physical and mental recovery of each client. The facility utilizes 12-step and holistic approaches - including naturopathic counseling and nutrition - to treat the whole person.

Treament options include a partial hospitalization program (PHP), which is the most intensive level of care and is offered by just 11.1 percent of treatment facilities in Arizona. There's also an intensive outpatient program (IOP), which meets less frequently and is offered by less than half (48.4 percent) of treatment facilities in Arizona.

Both programs are highly structured and include individual counseling, group therapy, and 12-step meetings. Clients also attend morning meditation groups and weekly process meetings, and have the opportunity to participate in recreational activities. Random drug screenings are also to be expected.


SpringBoard Recovery's treatment team includes a licensed professional counselor. To date, the 14 individuals polled by Rehabs.com about the facility's staff indicated that they were knowledgeable and well-trained.

Based on photos featured on the rehab's website, SpringBoard Recovery's residential facility features spacious, shared bedrooms, large bathrooms with multiple sinks, a fully-equipped kitchen, and comfortable common areas. There's also a backyard with an outdoor pool, patio, and grill. The 14 individuals surveyed by Rehabs.com to date indicated that the facility was clean and well-kept.

All of the 11 former clients polled by Rehabs.com to date gave SpringBoard Recovery highly positive feedback, praising the facility for its effective treatment, its caring staff, and its commitment to individualized care. "Springboard Recovery is much different from other rehab centers that I've attended," Brian wrote in a representative review. "There is much more focus on the patients program, well being, and recovery." Overall, the 10 alumni polled on the matter praised all surveyed aspects of the facility's programming.

Former clients also indicated that the rehab offered comfortable accommodations and ample activities and amenities. "The facility offers yoga, teaches you about meditation and offers a clean a very comfortable environment to learn about recovery," Keith reported in a representative review.

SpringBoard Recovery also fared well on secondary sites, earning average ratings of 4.8 out of five stars based on 10 Google reviews[1] and five out of five stars based on five Yelp reviews[2]. It also received a five out of five star rating based on the opinions of 24 individuals on Facebook[3].

Across all three sites, alumni described the rehab as a well-run treatment center providing effective therapy and an experienced and supportive treatment team. "It is a great place to learn the structure and routine of living day to day sober," Sergey wrote in a representative review on Google. "The staff is knowledgeable in getting to the root cause of an individuals addiction, and will set out a long term plan to stay sober."


At the time of this writing, the three loved ones polled by Rehabs.com also SpringBoard Recovery positive feedback. All three indicated that they would recommend the facility to others and noted that the staff kept them informed and involved in the treatment process. "Their sincere concern, along with professional expertise, provided an experience that not only saved my family member's life, was beyond what I could have ever expected," wrote P.S. in a representative review.

All three loved ones awarded high four and five-star ratings for their survey metrics, including the amount of family participation, counseling options, discharge planning, and staff availability. "Positive experience. This helped our family tremendously," loved one Kelsey wrote.


Laura, the one staff member surveyed by Rehabs.com to date, awarded SpringBoard Recovery five out of five stars across all metrics evaluated, including safety and comfort, administrative and discharge procedures, staff availability, and affordability. "Excellent Program!" she wrote.
