ABOUT ANAHEIM LIGHTHOUSE
Located outside of Los Angeles in Anaheim, Calif., Anaheim Lighthouse provides a full continuum of treatment services for individuals struggling with substance abuse, co-occurring mental health conditions, and trauma. It is one of only 15% of facilities in California that includes medical detox. Supportive programming for family members is also available.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Clients who begin their stay with detoxification can expect to receive medically-assisted treatment in a homelike environment with 24-hour monitoring. Once stabilized, clients may move on to the center’s residential program, which according to survey data submitted to Rehabs.com, may last up to 90 days.
Anaheim Lighthouse's programming is informed by 12-step principles and includes individual psychotherapy, group counseling, family therapy, process groups, and educational workshops.
Partial hospitalization, often used as a step-down option to residential care, includes similar treatment modalities but focuses on encouraging self-reliance. Clients enrolled in PHP spend six hours in treatment each day before returning to their homes in evening.
Intensive outpatient treatment is typically the next step leading up to discharge. In this stage, clients are connected to sober support groups, employment opportunities, and other community resources that aid relapse prevention. IOP includes three hours of treatment each day.
