ABOUT ACTION DRUG REHABS — BAKERSFIELD ADULT RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT CENTER

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Action Drug Rehabs' programming blends the 12-step model of recovery with evidence-based treatment approaches. If necessary, the facility utilizes medication to alleviate the discomfort of withdrawal.
Depending on the needs and progress of the client, residential treatment lasts between one and three months. During residential treatment, clients attend daily Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and/or Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings.
In addition to 12-step immersion, clients also regularly participate in individual and group counseling sessions, meditation sessions, as well as attend psycho-educational classes. On Saturdays, Bakersfield RTC invites loved ones to attend multi-family group sessions. Couples counseling is also available.
In addition to 12-step immersion and traditional programming, clients also have access to a gym, participate in Sunday outings within the community, and enjoy free time for journaling and reflection. Discharge planning occurs throughout treatment, and clinicians may encourage clients to transition into the organization’s intensive outpatient program (IOP).
