Dear The District, I, thank you,the team, in effort with the progress I have made in my recovery. You provided a safe environment, scheduled group therapy, case planning and access to outside meetings. Strong fellowship and suggestion of a sponsor in the AA Program. One day to the next, leadership and a individual role were vital to my own success. Thank you Jake Cancellieri

I was a homeless junkie in Massachusetts for 18 years before finally accepting help and going to treatment. I only went once, in 2017, which I know is not a common thing. I think it's because I landed at The District and was immersed into a fellowship of sober addicts and alcoholics that knew how to have fun and live a life without getting loaded. These are things I was never able to do. The District taught me how to sit with myself when I had to, and how to get out of my head by helping the people around me. Now with almost 4 years sober I stayed connected to the community and work for them. I have worked at other rehabs and while I may be biased as an alumni, I wouldn't send my loved one anywhere else. I believe the entire organization cares about the guests here from the top down and that's just something you find very often.

The District Recovery Community was instrumental in helping me achieve long term sobriety and ultimately saving my life. The groups are held with incredible facilitators and are very enlightening on the underlying issues of addiction/alcoholism and mental health. The houses that you stay in are stellar and located in safe communities. The best part about this treatment center is the sense community you'll find when you arrive. The wide variety of activities held on weekly basis helped show me that fun can be had in sobriety. If you are anyone you love is struggling right now and you are considering a treatment program to send them to I highly recommend you reach out to the team here. It could be the decision that saves you or a loved ones life.

Gave me everything I've needed to succeed. Not only am I sober, but I can live a regular life. I've paid off all debt in collections, back in college and am happy. Grateful for everything this place has done.

The district is a one of a kind program, during my time there, and in the years after as i began working in the field, i noticed that what the district does really stands out. I was at the end of the road with my addiction but not quite willing to commit and the district was very good at meeting me where i was at. It created an environment for me where, if i did the work, then it was clear that it worked. It also created a safe enough environment for me to be held accountable when i didn’t do the work, which happened as it does to many of us. It was a safe enough environment for me to make those mistakes early on without it costing me my sobriety. As the years have gone on i still learn every day more and more about myself and have become more and more tuned into the idea that i’m here to live life on life’s terms. TDRC showed me how to be the person i wanted to be. I will forever highly recommend this program for anyone who wants to give this long term recovery thing a shot. The houses are beautiful, the friendships you make here are beautiful, and this recovery thing is beautiful. 😁
