Rehabs 360 Guide

Infinity Malibu is a full-service, luxury addiction treatment center in Southern California. Running out of private, gated community, Infinity provides medically managed sub-acute detoxification services, multi-phase residential treatment for a maximum of six adults at a time, outpatient care at various intensities, sober living homes, and family support.

Upon arrival, clients undergo an assessment of health, level of chemical dependency, and other factors to determine an appropriate treatment plan. Those requiring detox can safely withdraw within a 24-hour setting of registered nurses before beginning residential treatment. Of the many goals embedded in treatment, clients may learn to develop life skills and healthy boundaries, make lasting attitudinal and behavioral changes, and plan for a successfully independent, substance-free future.

A typical week of residential treatment at Infinity sees a full range of both holistic and evidence-based practices. The multi-phase program typically involves 12-step and community meetings, gender-separate process groups, stress management workshops, individual counseling, and relapse prevention training. In addition to these, residents take part in physical exercise, mindfulness and yoga sessions, as well as daily leisure/personal time. Dual diagnoses - like anxiety, depression, trauma, sex and gambling addictions - are also addressed here.

Clients seeking a more intermediate option may opt for one of Infinity’s two outpatient options: partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs. Offering case management services, 12-step and process groups, stress management training, and alumni meetings, both programs are solid options for those unable to take time away from family, work, or school.

Following treatment, program graduates may enroll in one of Infinity’s sober living homes to help them transition more smoothly back to independent living. They’ll go to work or school during the day, pay rent, complete their assigned chores, be on time to their support groups and therapy sessions, and avoid aggressive/violent behavior and sexual contact with other residents.

Infinity Malibu has two consulting doctors on staff, an internist and a board-certified psychiatrist, as well as licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs), case managers, and an executive chef with more than 30 years’ experience.

A true luxury facility, Infinity Malibu provides clients with various ancillary opportunities including acupuncture, massage therapy, walks along the beach, hiking trips, restorative yoga, and equine-assisted therapy. Residents receive chef-prepared gourmet meals daily based on dietary and nutritional needs. The six-bed residence has an outdoor gazebo and multiple seating areas as well as WIFI and phone access.

While Rehabs.com has not yet received any reviews from this facility’s alumni, affiliated friends or family members, or staff, two Google reviewers awarded the center five stars. “Spectacular staff and program!” wrote Jonathan. “Healing in Malibu was a gift for my senses and my soul - Thank you!”[1]

Infinity Malibu participates with major PPO plans like Aetna, CIGNA, Anthem Blue Cross, United Behavioral Health, and more.
