Rehabs 360 Guide

Located in the Pacific Coast community of Newport Beach, Calif., Sober Partners Network offers residential and outpatient programs to individuals struggling with substance use disorder. The facility is also one of 197 non-hospital treatment programs in California (15 percent of all treatment centers) to provide medical detox.

During residential treatment, clients participate in group counseling and individual therapy, as well as holistic offerings such as yoga, exercise programs, massage therapy, and chiropractic care. There are also groups for clients with co-occurring disorders, a specialty offered by a little more than half (54.9 percent) of California treatment facilities.

Executive treatment plans are available for high-profile clients, and there's also an alternative sentencing program for those who face legal issues. In addition, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is available for alcohol and opioid dependency.

In addition to a standard outpatient program (OP), Sober Partners is among the 39.4 percent of treatment facilities in California to offer an intensive outpatient program (IOP), which is often used as a step-down from residential care. Aftercare options include alumni groups, sober living accommodations, random drug screenings, and various levels of sober coaching.

"I got sober and learned the tools for continued success in recovery from these great people," Mike wrote in a representative review on Yelp. The two loved ones polled by Rehabs.com to date, both parents of former clients, provided opposing opinions of Sober Partners. Ted noted that his son benefited greatly from his treatment and wrote: "Sober partners runs a great operation and has great people. They are in it to help, not to become rich."
