Adventure Therapy
Adventure Therapy features activities such as daily morning walks, intensive nature hikes, indoor rock climbing, horseback riding, equine therapy (when available), and a variety of dynamic therapeutic challenges. Clients are also invited to join group excursions to destinations such as Joshua Tree and Laguna Beach’s exquisite Crystal Cove State Park.Holistic Therapies
Holistic therapies utilize holistic therapeutic techniques such as Tai Chi, Pilates, Qi Gong, Stick Stretching, and yoga to provide clients with an extensive continuum of treatments for the mind, body, and soul. While prior experience is not required, clients are invited to participate in a comprehensive introductory fitness course in order to become acquainted with the range of holistic therapies offered.

- Craig MacLaughlin, LMFT Clinical DirectorCraig has been a pioneer in the area of integrated treatment (treating substance abuse, addiction and mental health issues) for over 30 years. He graduated from San Diego State.
- Barry Solof, MD, FASAM Medical DirectorBarry graduated from Yale Medical School and has practiced addiction medicine for over 35 years. He was formerly Regional Chief of Addiction Medicine at Kaiser Permanente in southern California and an Associate Professor of Psychology at Los Angeles City College.
