Founded in 1962 by five members of Alcoholics Anonymous and Episcopal Bishop Robert Gooden, the Gooden Center provides men with 12-step-based residential treatment in beautiful Pasadena, California. The residential rehab offers gender-specific care that allows men to feel more comfortable expressing their emotions, and keeps them undistracted from the primary goal of recovery. Day treatment, outpatient services, and sober living options are also available, and alumni may return every week for an aftercare program for as long as they wish.
