The facility also provides medical detox, which is available in just 15 percent of non-hospital treatment facilities in California.

Residential treatment typically lasts 30 days and combines 12-step principles with evidenced-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), the latter of which is offered by 38.3 percent of California treatment facilities.

Clients attend individual and group therapy, as well as family counseling and multi-family education groups. There are also programs for clients with co-occurring disorders, a specialty available in 54.9 percent of treatment facilities in California. Dual diagnosis programming may include psychiatric assessment and ongoing medication management.

The program is rounded-out by a range of holistic offerings such as yoga, music therapy, psychodrama, mindfulness, and neurofeedback. The center also offers personalized outpatient care, at intensities ranging from weekly to daily care. Each client leaves with a tailored aftercare plan, plus access to monthly alumni meetings.
