TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Treatment is offered in programs lasting 30, 60, or 90 days, making it one of 440 (33.6 percent) long-term California residential facilities. The program is built around individual, group, and family therapy, as well as confidence-boosting social activities. Specifically, Ventura Recovery Center uses evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), brief strategic family therapy (BST), psychodynamic group therapy, stress management, and parenting support.
While completing the final stage of treatment, IOP, clients can stay in one of the organization’s sober living facilities, complete with a live-in residential manager. The IOP phase also includes employment assistance to help clients transition back into the community.
