Jaywalker Lodge

It's hard to say what is a fair price for recovery, there is none. But even at major metropolitan cities medical doctors prices, above average dining and hotel accommodations, JWL's monthly figure is excessive, $25,000.00!

AIM House, LLC

AIM is a good program with quality staff that understands the struggles and needs of its participants. I feel like I personally gained and learned more about myself during my time as a participant there than I did in my primary care. However; the program is only really suited to help those who WANT to be there. Many participants who "checked out" or saw it as a temporary stop before returning to their everyday lives seem to have struggled after leaving the program. They didn't take things like groups seriously and made little effort actually to improve themselves while being there, and my most considerable criticism of their work is that they do not try to change this mentality while there. It makes it harder for those who are actually trying to gain something from the experience when half the participants spend nearly every day criticizing the program simply because they do not want to be there or do not wish to be sober. That being said, for those who take advantage of all AIM has to offer, I can't think of a better place to transition back into the world. Many staff members have been through treatment themselves and work to help participants navigate the world post-treatment as well as provide them with numerous resources to help them succeed in their time after leaving AIM, everything from helping participants get into college, helping them with job placement, and continuing mentorship and therapy after leaving if they so choose. It has been some time since I was there myself, so it is possible things have changed in terms of the attitudes of participants, but I'll always be grateful for my time there. I believe if it wasn't for AIM supporting and encouraging me the way they did at such a critical point in my life I would have been a lot worse off today.

Drug and Alcohol Rehab

Rehabilitation centers for drug and alcohol addiction offer a variety of programs crafted to tackle addiction and provide vital assistance on the path to recovery. These programs are customized within the centers to address the diverse needs of individuals seeking help, acknowledging the uniqueness of everyone’s journey to recovery.

What Happens in Drug and Alcohol Rehab?

In the journey toward recovery, distinct treatment stages play a crucial role, each serving a specific purpose. These stages, including detox, inpatient treatment, and outpatient programs are designed to address the unique needs of individuals at different points in their recovery journey.

Detox Programs

Detox programs mark the initial phase for many individuals starting their journey to recovery from addiction. These programs, under medical supervision, ensure the highest level of care and safety during the challenging withdrawal process. The main goal of detox is to safely eliminate harmful substances from individuals’ bodies, preparing them for subsequent treatment. Medically trained staff closely oversee this phase, administering medications thoughtfully to alleviate the often uncomfortable and, at times, severe withdrawal symptoms linked to various substances.

How Long Is Detox in Rehab?

Detox typically lasts between 3 to 7 days, though the precise duration varies depending on factors such as the substance of abuse, the individual’s overall health, and the severity of their addiction.

Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab

Inpatient drug rehab programs play a crucial role in the recovery journey, offering a structured and immersive environment for individuals seeking healing from addiction. These programs provide diverse therapies within a safe haven, allowing individuals to focus solely on their recovery. In this supportive setting, various therapeutic interventions, including group therapy, individual counseling, and holistic approaches, are employed to keep patients aligned with their recovery goals.

This comprehensive approach to treatment enables individuals to address not only their addiction but also any co-occurring mental health disorders complicating their path to recovery. While 30-day programs are popular, inpatient treatment durations can extend to 60 or 90 days when necessary, ensuring individuals receive the level of care aligning with their unique needs and progress.

Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab

Outpatient drug rehab programs equip individuals with essential tools for aftercare and relapse prevention. These programs offer flexibility, enabling participants to maintain their daily routines, including work or family commitments, while accessing crucial support for their recovery journey. Outpatient treatment is a supportive option for individuals transitioning from more intensive care levels or those needing treatment while managing daily responsibilities.

In these programs, individuals learn strategies to sustain their recovery in real-world settings, building on the foundation established during earlier treatment stages. This adaptable approach not only provides necessary support but also empowers individuals to apply their newfound skills in managing challenges as they re-engage with their everyday lives.
