Founded in 2003, Turnbridge operates gender-separate programs for young men and young women who have been afflicted with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Since its inception over 13 years ago, Turnbridge has received national acclaim for its innovative treatment model that has redefined the way our industry approaches the “failure to launch” population. Turnbridge clients progress through three Phases of structure, whereby each Phase is designed to build upon the previous one. The ultimate goal for Turnbridge graduates is that they’re actively working or taking classes, engaged in therapy, participating in active social lives, attending 12-step meetings, and actively practicing independent living skills.

I have been in Turnbridge since June 8th, 2020. I "ran" on July 10th 2021. When I say I ran, I had a sober house lined up to move into the next week which is the decision I thought best for my recovery. Turnbridge however did not agree with it. Leaving, I did not expect my parents to be happy with me, however I did not expect to hear that tunbridge told my parents I am in danger and HAVE to come back. Only two staff members reached out to me to make sure I was safe in the first 3 days. Besides the whole situation with me running away, Turnbridge is not a good choice for you to send your loved ones too. Before I arrived at Turnbridge, my mental health was horrible and I was using primarily weed, acid, and Xanax. After almost 13 months of being there, my mental health was on its last legs and I was at my breaking point. The support staff that work there are amazing. Out of all 3 case managers I had, 1 I am still in contact with and the other is nice but nice doesn't always get the job done. They pay their staff members minimum wage which is not enough to be dealing with the disrespect given by some clients. Also, if you are looking for a place for someone you love or yourself to be treated for an eating disorder, Turnbridge is not it. I cannot count on my fingers or toes how many times I was told, "eat healthier","lose weight", or "just don't eat as much". I would also like to point out that in my time there, I came to be in a relationship with a past client. I was told multiple times that she was dealing drugs and called her names like a predator. When I relapsed in phase 3, STAFF spread a rumor saying I was dealing drugs out of my house given to me by her. Staff spread that. Not clients. In my opinion, that is extremely inappropriate and unprofessional and within the month and a half I have been out of tunbridge, my friend was raped and did not want anybody to find out except her case manager and her friends. Almost 2 weeks after it happened Staff around all 3 houses found out because one staff member went from person to person spilling my friends business. Long story short, if you value your relationship with your family member, and you want them to recover and get better this is not the place or environment you want to send them too. Im not writing this because I hate Turnbridge (even though I do), I just don't want anybody else to go through what me or any one of friends has gone through in our experiences there.

I would NOT recommend this place at all if you identify as queer, LGBTQIA, transgender, non-binary, or a BIPOC. Turnbridge is a luxury, but money does not buy long term sobriety or happiness. I graduated this program after 2+ years out of my own desperation for recovery, but not without a lot of trauma and hardships due to TB\'s lack of inclusivity, diversity, and accountability.

My daughter has been in TB for 13 months; she is about to turn 23 and is dealing with alcohol addiction, co-dependency, and bi-polar disorder. She\'s a bit of a rebel, but also wants to do well. It has not always been a smooth ride but TB is a HUGE blessing, and has been helping my daughter, and our family, in ways that seem way beyond what I could have hoped for. They care, they are knowledgable. My daughter has been taking classes online during the pandemic at college and plans to return in Sept. Healing and living, it\'s process! I am extremely grateful for and to TB.

Turnbridge is a great place. I read some of the negative reviews and frankly almost laugh. Certainly many of the young people who have attended Tunbridge may not like it, getting sober and living a good life is hard. My son spent several months in Tunbridge and their program absolutely works. I believe it saved his life. The entire staff doesn\'t \"do it for the money\" they do it to help people. My son was meth addict and frankly extremely difficult for months until his brain started to heal. The staff at Tunbridge never gave up, they never stopped trying to help him. There is no perfect solution to help an addict, it\'s a process. The staff at Tunbridge with the experience they have and with as much care as possible do their best. That is the only solution the rest is up to the individual. May God bless all the staff at Turnbridge.

Turnbridge not only saved my sons life they provided him with the ability to live happily and productively. He has achieved not just sobriety but self esteem, mental health and genuine joy of living! Everyone had given up, including my son. Turnbridge offered hope and then delivered a miracle! I couldn’t recommend it more highly.
