River Oaks Treatment Center
Big Frank was my favorite TA because from Day one he asked me if I was new and if there anything I needed and that continued through the rest of my treatment, he always checked to see if I was ok, he even knew me by name. The good was good. Client Care Coordinator Mattie always had such a positive vibe and made the event nights so much fun. My therapist Saffiyah I was able to be open with and a Therapist James was an awesome dude, he wasn’t even my therapist but he would still bring me on his office to talk to him. It was amazing to have access to a basketball court. Amy and Dimitrius had amazing groups, they were my favorite. I learned about my mental health struggling with depression and anxiety which I learned about in groups. They have AA and NA groups here which was great. I would recommend staying here, from what I’ve seen this is the best facility to come to. Everybody was super friendly.

Wayside is incredibly unique, was established in 1944, helps women regardless of finances or insurance coverage, has compassionate staff, effective interventions, full continuum of care with long term options, variety of services that set up each client for success prior to leaving. Wayside allowed me to heal, grow, and attain long term recovery, and many opportunities and accomplishments.
