Addiction Solutions Florida

705 Bond Way, Delray Beach, Florida, 33446
Solutions Recovery Center recognizes alcoholism and drug addiction as a primary disease. The disease affects brain-functioning and physiology, mental health, social, and behavioral functioning and the totality of personal characteristics. The illness if left untreated is a chronic, progressive, and fatal illness. The illness is pervasive and affects not only the individual, but has an impact on all who interact with them. We believe each individual has the right to be treated with respect and dignity as they are valued by society. We believe each individual has the right to treatment, the most appropriate level of treatment, regardless of creed, gender, race, sexual orientation, age, or origin and they have the inherent potential for change and growth.

Rehabs 360 Guide

On a quiet, tree-lined street blocks from the Gulf in Delray Beach, South Florida, Solutions Recovery Center offers addiction treatment for men only. The center is one of the 208 non-hospital-based residential facilities in the state of Florida, and one of 298 treatment centers in Florida offering some kind of treatment specifically for men. Outpatient care is also available. Detoxification services are not offered on-site, though the facility will refer clients in need of detox to an appropriate location.

The residential program offers three lengths of stay: 30, 60, or 90 days. The facility uses a “triangle approach” to recovery, meaning that each client works closely with a primary therapist and a professional therapeutic counselor to individualize each treatment plan.

According to the facility’s website, Solutions focuses on individualized treatment and support. Clients participate in several individual counseling sessions per week, along with attending 12-step meetings, daily group support meetings, and group therapy sessions. Family therapy is also available.

Although the center's website advertises outpatient services, no further information is available. However, Solutions emphasizes its continuing care provisions — specifically, a program it calls the Break Free Plan. Break Free is an opt-in service for alumni under which a case manager accompanies the client on their journey home to provide support to the family, find an aftercare mentor, and make referrals to an aftercare therapist in the community.

Solutions' clinical director is a licensed psychologist, who oversees a staff of master’s-level therapists and certified addiction counselors. The single individual polled by Rehabs.com to date on the staff's level of training and experience gave it five out of five stars.

The facility offers 24 beds in total, some of them in private rooms. The residential facilities are high-end and homelike, designed with upscale furnishings and comfy common areas. Luxury amenities include a meditation garden, a swimming pool, and soothing group rooms. Residents are also near the beach, where they can enjoy regular outings.

The use of personal cell phones and computers is allowed in the facility once a client has been deemed “stable.” The two individuals polled on the center's cleanliness and upkeep both awarded this aspect of the facility perfect five-star ratings.

Of the five alumni polled by Rehabs.com to date, four gave positive feedback. The fifth reviewer, Mindful, complained of high prices, a lack of appropriate treatment planning, and a lack of a psychiatrist on staff. "The treatment consists mostly of people in recovery coming in to talk. This can be obtained for free at AA or NA," Mindful wrote.

However, the other four reviewers gave glowing reviews, repeatedly thanking Solutions for their continued sobriety and even, on one occasion, writing that the center had saved their life. The center's staff and programming also won repeated praise. Offering a perfect five-star rating for the likelihood they'd recommend the facility, as well as four stars for the amount of family participation and counseling options, one anonymous alum wrote: "Great staff , and great program choices for your own recovery. A good mix of activities."

Solutions Recovery Center currently has overwhelmingly positive feedback on secondary sites, with a 4.8-star average rating based on 26 reviews on Facebook (where the facility can manage its own page).[1] The reviewers repeatedly thanked the center's caring staff. "Everyone that works there is awesome. I was broken when I got there and they gave me the tools I needed to fix my life it only works if you want this people !!!" Chris wrote in representative review. More than one client also praised the center's individualized programming.

"Great amenities, wonderful trips to enjoy the FL area," was the appraisal of J.J., the single loved one polled by Rehabs.com to date. J.J. gave Solutions five stars for its holistic offerings, family involvement, and staff support, and four stars for its counseling options.

Former staffer Alan indicated that they would not recommend treatment at Solutions, explaining that the center had "started hiring inexperienced people." Alan gave the center three stars for its honesty and the experience levels of its medical, mental health, and addiction staff, and four stars for its willingness to put clients' interests first. He indicated that he did not have concerns about the quality of care offered, but gave the center just one out of five stars for the overall quality of its leadership.

Staff posting on secondary sites also gave mixed reports. Solutions has a one-star, a three-star, and perfect five-star rating on Indeed.[2] One reviewer described "less than safe conditions in numerous work places," while another wrote: "I didn't always agree with their way of doing business and treating the clients." However, the positive reviewer described Solutions as a "great company to work for."

Treatment at Solutions cost $2,495 a day, $28,500 per month, and $52,000 for 90 days. Like 68.9 percent of Florida facilities, the center accepts private insurance.
