ABOUT THE TREATMENT CENTER
Located five miles from Florida’s South Palm Beach, The Treatment Center provides residential and outpatient-based substance use treatment for adults, including individuals with co-occurring mental health disorders. Medically managed, 24-hour supervised detox services are also available on-site.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Each client receives an individualized treatment plan upon admission. The residential program can vary in length, but typically lasts 35 days. Treatment combines 12-step methodology with evidence-based practices and includes one-on-one counseling and group therapy, as well as holistic therapies and recreational activities such as yoga, massage, Tai Chi, volleyball, art/music therapy, and meditation.
The facility offers a specialized faith-based track for those seeking a Christian recovery, which includes pastoral counseling, prayer, Bible study, Christ-centered 12-step meetings, and worship services.
There also is a court liaison program for clients with legal issues, as well as a two-day intensive family workshop. Clients receive comprehensive aftercare plans, which may include transitioning into the facility’s intensive outpatient program (IOP), partial hospitalization program (PHP), or the rehab’s other a la carte outpatient program (OP) offerings.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
With a staff-to-client ratio of 2:1, the facility offers highly personalized attention. The treatment team includes medical doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, and nurses. The seven individuals polled on the specific survey metric praised the staff's experience and training.

The facility can accommodate 144 clients. Residents stay in simple, shared accommodations with two or three beds per room. Meals are prepared on-site and served cafeteria-style. The seven individuals polled by Rehabs.com to date on the matter felt the facility was clean and well-maintained.

Alumni reviews are mostly positive. Of the 12 former clients who responded numerically to the Rehabs.com survey at the time of this writing, 10 gave the facility high ratings of four and five out of five stars for overall effectiveness of treatment. Four alumni used the term “life saving” in describing The Treatment Center, such as Chris, who wrote: “This facility saved my life.” Bill M. echoed that sentiment and added: “These people are absolute saints. They saved my life and soothed my soul in ways I could never imagine before my 35 day stay there.” S.M. wrote: “The program and staff make it possible to get sober and find a new life in recovery.”
The two less satisfied former clients criticized the facility for what they describe is its focus on money. And Boris wrote that although the accommodations were nice, the discharge process was difficult.

Similar to alumni, the large majority of friends and family who rated the facility numerically gave high four and top five stars for its overall effectiveness. Family members polled on the matter also felt the facility offered an ample amount of family participation.

The common complaint was that there were too many clients per staff, despite the facility’s claim of a 2:1 staff-to-client ratio.
